I think it goes all the way back to shows like the Flintstones when Fred would yell, "Wilma!" after getting locked out by the pets. Anyway, the point is, they were making fun of a trope.

You'd need to have some specialized video editing program to actually play around with it in a code way, but the concept has merit (change the reference from the first occurrence of "burger" to the second and see how it changes the rest of the video).

@@tomlxyz these are both necroposts, but I assume they meant change the reference pointer - so if you treat each chopped up segment as a pointer to a timestamp*, ran an algorithm to change all references to their Nth matched word instance it becomes an interesting problem and the output would be a completely different video *Depending on the implementation, some struct or object with "word" and "time" from the original clip would suffice

You'd need to have some specialized video editing program to actually play around with it in a code way, but the concept has merit (change the reference from the first occurrence of "burger" to the second and see how it changes the rest of the video).

@@tomlxyz these are both necroposts, but I assume they meant change the reference pointer - so if you treat each chopped up segment as a pointer to a timestamp*, ran an algorithm to change all references to their Nth matched word instance it becomes an interesting problem and the output would be a completely different video *Depending on the implementation, some struct or object with "word" and "time" from the original clip would suffice
Seymour and Superintendent are so close, that they can even anticipate and begin/interrupt/finish each other's sentences.
