Much like the sight and sound of steam locomotive hard at work up a steep gradient, another that is equally stirring is that of a steam locomotive pounding along the rails at speed, with a full rake of coaches on the back. In this first edition of 'Racehorses of Steam', filmed between late 2012 and late 2016, I hope to bring you several shots of steam trains charging through the British landscape, at speeds ranging from 50-75mph.
