I feel like Steam has spoiled us enough with frequency and quality of discounts, that when I see “-20%” off on a Steam game, I just kind of assume that’s the regular price. The thing about the EA stuff, (DA 2, Inquition), is you have to have the EA launcher regardless of if you buy it on Steam. DA:O is on GOG with non of that shenanigans. Also for Wrath of The Righteous. If you haven't played it's like before, Pathfinder:Kingmaker by the same dev's is a ridiculously low price on sale for what you get. It's a big game and is a good starter to Owlcat's methods in that system.

It's a better Steam seasonal sale than I've seen in years. By a bit, anyway. Still seem to recall Steam had some massive discounts back in the mid-teens though. I guess everyone's spending less nowadays, giving incentive to drop those sale prices a little further. They need money like the rest of us. 🤔
Finally picked up Colony Ship during this sale. Excited to explore it.
Been waiting for Aragami Nightfall for a minute now!!!!! Hope life is going swell, Mort!

For those wanting something different in turn-based games, but a real gem, Football, Tactics & Glory is on a 90% Sale for 2,49€. Together with the two DLCs it goes up to 10,91€(one DLC), or 17,40€(both). It is one of those games, that I picked up on a whim a few years back and it somehow became one of my favorite turn based games. Starts out simple, but can get rather complex later on. And you don't need to be a football (soccer in this case) fan, but it can probably help quite a bit. Settings allow the change of some features, to tailor it to how you like it. Really would recommend it for any tactics player, that doesn't always want to fight wars.
Horizon Forbidden West is 20% off. Finished zero dawn this year, so glad to get the sequel.

The Steam version of Origins is quite fucked on a technical level, so I would also strongly advise against buying it there.
My humble recommendation is the entire Legend of Heroes Trails series, all 10 games (out of 11, or 12 soon with the release of Trails through Daybreak) are on sale right now and i can't recommend these games enough. Easily my favourite franchise in gaming, amazing characters, music, story and worldbuilding. It's a turn based jrpg with the ability to move around your characters on the arena (similar to recent turn based Yakuza games). Falcom has been around the block for quite a while now and i think they've mastered the turn based combat, with newer titles, starting with Daybreak, introducing a hybrid combat between action rpg and turn based. Know that this series is old and the first 5 games have the isometric view with 2D characters and 3D environment. This series can easily give you over a thousand hours worth of gametime, with some of the later games surpassing Persona 5 if you're the type to go for 100% (me personally it took 160 hours to 100% beat Trails of Cold Steel 4). Also, know that the story in these games is continuous, with characters, stories, NPCs from previous games can have a big impact on the next game, so it's best advised to start from the first game, Trails in the Sky FC. ALTHOUGH, given how the story is structured in these games, starting the series from any arc's respective starting point (Trails in the Sky FC for the Liberl arc, Trails from Zero for the Crossbell arc, Trails of Cold Steel for the Erebonia arc, and the upcoming Trails through Daybreak for the Calvard arc) are also valid options, so if you're not sure if you're ready to commit to playing thorugh the entire series, you can start from any of these arcs - it's because, although the story is intertwined in these games between different arc, the first game in each arc is separate, it's contained and has barely any important references to previous titles, so the story for these isn't gonna get impacted by playing out of order.
Total War Warhammer 3 is 50% off, with discounts on most of its DLC. The last few patches have put the game in a great state and the series is probably the best it's been at this point. Alot of great boomer shooters also have decent discounts too: -Ion Fury (60% off) -Dusk (50% off) -Powerslave Exhumed (55% off) -Amid Evil (50% off) -Dread Templar (75% off) is an insane deal at the moment Also Outer Wilds is 40% off, not the biggest discount but for one of the most incredible games I've ever experienced it's a steal.

I don't want to make you write a small book, but what would you consider 1 or 2 of the biggest changes that have put warhammer 3 in a great place? Haven't touched the game in about a year, but would love to try it again it some solid improvements have been made.
@Chimwizlet
13 күн бұрын
@@j.asmrgaming1228 There's lots of little improvements that have made the game feel better to play, like units being more responsive, less line of sight issues, general balance tweaks, ongoing updates to sieges, etc. There's been a few improvements to the AI, both in battle and on campaign. The latter in particular seems much less passive than before, and things don't seem to always play out the same with every campaign anymore. There's also been big reworks for Empire, Dwarfs, and Nurgle that have made their campaigns some of the most fun in the game. The main thing is that the devs are actually patching the game on a regular basis, rather than leaving it 4-6 months and only patching alongside a big DLC release. Issues actually get fixed in a reasonable time now, and they're making improvements gradually while taking feedback into account.

I made the switch over to PC a few years ago and have never looked back. I am excited for you to experience so many wonderful games! What title/series are you going to dive into first?

@@sgt_bob_ross4733 probably black myth wukong then sticking to Jrpgs
Picked up ghost recon breakpoint for $5 seems pretty good at that price point.
One of the better sales IMO in yrs, maybe a decade. Colony Ship is $26
Dont see the jankyness of kingdom come deliverance as a downside it adds to the charm
Going through my second (very thorough) playthrough of WoTR, been keeping an eye on PoE2 for some time now. Good to know of such a great discount!
Grabbed the Pathfinder season 2 dlc. Looking forward to playing it all the way through again with slightly less Swarmage...
Disco Elysium is a few years old but down to a historic low of 4 bucks (in US) this sale. Good time to pick it up if you never got it before. Very philosophical RPG somewhat in the Planescape Torment vein.
you should try Inkbound with your son! It's got a bit of the crpg dna in a roguelike format that makes it easy to pick up and play solo or do runs with friends. It also actually plays extremely well on steam deck as well.
I was sad when Steam had to stop allowing purchases in my local currency because of inflation and all prices are now in US dollars, but I'm realizing lately that they're still super cheap in comparison with other regions. Pathfinder: WOTR for example is $5.99 and the mythic edition is $12.77. Also I can't see the price of the bundle for both Pillars of Eternity with all DLCs but I bought that a couple of weeks ago for $15 without any discount, so I'm sure it's hilariously cheap now.
Using B-roll of killing a brazier giant.....WHAT A FUCKING FLEX
Now that I have a 6month old baby i don't ever get time to play games outside of working 10 hours a day and chores.😢
Right now i have enough to get either Palworld or Another Crab's Treasure. I think I am leaning towards ACT. It just seems really fun and I haven't tried a souls-like before. However, it is hard to resist the pull of Palworld. Still undecided.

if you have a friend or two to play Palworld with I think it's an easy choice, if it's just you I would recommend ACT as it's built more toward a single player experience.
haven't seen it called out, so I'm picking up n shouting out Seablip - good looking early access terraria/stardew looking thingamajig from a solo dev~
I sure wish you would go back and play, review the Remedy games like Quantum Break, Control, and Alan Wake 2. I think you would enjoy them.
Shoutout to the Forza Horizon 4 sale btw, it's on a huge discount, it's a fantastic racing game and it's sadly being delisted later this year.
Square Enix is having a pretty good sale as well. got FFVII for $4 and some change
Spore bundle (with 2 dlcs) is 82% off.
My actual reaction when shadow of the erdtree isn't 90% off
banshers! :)
Banner Saga, Disco Elysium and Suzerain.
Solium Infernum is 40% off, it's a kind of digital board game so you ideally would have ~3 more friends to play with.
Disco Elysium final cut is dirt cheap now.
