20 SOMEWHAT YEARS LATER

When this song came out I was 3-4 years old, and my dad would sing this song to me to help me sleep when i couldn't. It worked every time without fail. He did that with me for many years. My father now passed away less than a month ago, and i turn 15 in 3 days. This song means so much to me, and has always and forever will make me smile :)

I showed this to my friend and now he can't stop referencing this song, specially Rabbits little antics. He went as far as actually adding Captain Albert Alexander as an NPC to our DnD campaign XD

So fun story, there was a real guy named Albert Alexander from England, But he was a constable, and was the first person to ever receive penicillin to treat an infection in 1941. He was like an Astronaut for Antibiotics! Also Rabbit had WAY too much sugar when they filmed this.

with a little practice and excersizes most guys can hit both ranges...the hard part is transitioning between both smoothly...im a low baritone and on good days I can sing the alto and sometimes soprano parts of songs but the transitions are the hardest part trying to do them quickly and smoothly

Watching Rabbit here made me think what an amazing signer she would be if she learned ASL. Half the language is the expressions you make, and a fair portion of storytelling in ASL involves miming. 😊

Harry Allen It's a pun on letters and the term 'sea-legs'. Rabbit is suggesting that Jon needs to trade in his 'B' legs and upgrade to 'C' legs if he wants to fight skeleton pirates on the back of killer whales.

Jax Dee that's not a mistake. Bunny has always been female, she was assigned male and received male pronouns. From the point of transition prefered pronouns are used retrospectively.

I used to sing this to my nephew as a lullaby, but changed the chorus to "Caleb Alexander~" (his name), and though he's much older now, I still sometimes say his name like that to get him to smile. Lot of good memories to this song.

I was really confused, going through their early stuff to their newer stuff and trying to figure out where this charismatic golden-faced robot went. Glad to know she's still here.

There's actually a lot of evidence that Albert is a horrible sailor. First he only woke up when the pirates had already bombarded and immobilized his ship, boarded them, reached his captain and then began to drown him. Then he's such a horrible navigator that he sailed directly into a six or seven hundred foot tall walrus, somehow unable to notice and consequently dodge the enormous animal. Then in the end he sailed into a thunderstorm in waters known to house giant octopi.

Ive got a voyage in 8 weeks. I know this is weird to bring up but having been in a wild life, not to the standard of Albert. Well, not yet. Ever since i was a wee boy i wanted to be a pirate. So Ive ventured this world, next country is Brazil! But this song gives me such peace. As an orphan growing up and reading treasure island and the oddssey and later Moby Dick. Just wanting to sail because without a family the sea has been my family for a long time and she is a leviathan. But i always find myself returning here before a voyage...

Rabbits movements are so good, i love watching her dance around. I watch this constantly since it came out.

This makes me so happy, I only found this song less then a week ago and I am pretty certain I have watched it at least 25 times, Bunnies energy is so contagious such a joy to watch and brilliant song!

This was the first SPG video my brother showed me about a year ago and since then I have seen this hundreds of times but I have only just noticed that at around 3:55, The Jon says "Stop dancing Rabbit" :D

Every few years when i remember this song exists, i can never watch it just once.

So many years later, I keep coming back to this song : ). Such a cute band.
