Steam Locomotive Action! Return of Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range 332

A steam engine, Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range 332 is back in action, and under steam again! This locomotive, owned and operated by The North Shore Scenic Railroad, it is now back in service after a successful test run!
We'll chase the 332 as it makes a test run, in preparation for its next operating season. The cold, crisp, November air, created many dramatic scenes as the locomotive made its way along the rails. Begining at the museum, we'll get a close up view before it blasts off. After running to Rice Point and back, it was off to Lakeside. On the way, the drone gives amazing views as the exhaust climbs into the sky. The cold air really made it look neat! It'll be great to see this engine operating for years to come!

Just wanna say that C-205 is currently being worked on inside our maintenance shop right now! The shop building just turned 20, and we are gonna try to celebrate that this year. Hope to see you up in Duluth soon!

Very cool, and great to hear that the C-205 is getting some TLC. I'm excited to see the MN&S FM once that's all said and done. Hopefully see you in Duluth soon too!

@@SD457500 332 will be running this year, especially for Natl. Train Day, May 11th! Hope to see you all there!
It sure is great to see the engine back running once more. Hopefully, the problems have been solved as I feel like because of them this engine hasn't been able to be used much like it was supposed to when entering excursion service in 2017. Still, I hope this means 332 will be running much throughout next year as I'm hoping to return to Duluth with my Dad to see her in operation, but also ride the remaining trackage of North Shore Scenic as I only got to ride half of it when visiting the museum back in August. Not sure how things will go for next year but here's hope 332 is ready for a busy season and the museum employees and volunteers are up for the task.
Perfect weather for some great drone videography with 332 steaming up a storm! Another steam locomotive back under steam is amazing. Congrats to the Museum and the North Shore Railroad for a job well done, and now I have an excuse to drive to Duluth over Turkey Day Weekend!

Thank you very much! It happened by sheer chance on a day trip to drone the ore docks in Duluth. I'll be back to get more ship action before it gets too cold.

This is with the Lake Superior Railroad Museum; the steam engine is owned by them, and they run the steam program. No affiliation with CN. Thank for watching!
Really like the video, nothing sounds like a working steam locomotive.. Need to get up tp Duluth again. Any word on railfan trip for this engine?
