ive found smaller circular ones on amazon that are submerged, i use a 10 head one but im a plumber and was at the supply house and had an idea. I think i can do the same thing with a steam shower add on and turn my whole shower into a massive fruiting chamber.

Just be mindful of moisture on the walls and grout with molds. We did many many years ago and ruined a bathroom within 2 years. But until that point, very fruitful

Noice. I see you got this thing rolling. I'm working on using a PID and heating element or maybe heating tape. There are tons of options for electrical heating. I lmao when I seen the duct seal. (instantly recognized what it was).. It's sticky until it's not.. It holds a phone well on the dash board for GPS to the customers house though! Awesome project my guy.

Awesome truly. Curious if it could work for suplemented sawdust in jars without the pressure. Still would he great to have. Maybe a 120 steam generator would work alright, otherwise this is tempting me more to get off the road.

Vevor 7kw. I understood how to disable the controller from.sending the off signal to the unit from a friend's unit. So I can let mine run all day shooting steam instead of the 1 hour.

@BoxedMinds I saw one for bending wood And thought it could be rigged for sterilizing. It only gets the H2O to 212°. Do you have a rule on how long you leave the grain steam for? Thanks for all the insight.

@@k.elysee6527 I've put a thermometer in the substrate and read 234°F. I put heavy stuff on the lid and have a few tiny holes on the bottom. This will actually help build a little pressure. I've only measured 4psi, but still. Understanding this I leave my grain on full blast for a minimum of 4 hours and a max of 8. I only do 8 for large grain bags. 4 for jars. Never had an issue yet

@@k.elysee6527 if you want to pasturize, toss the thermocouple in and set the thermostat to 55°c. It'll maintain substrate around 80°C when the controller is set to 55°c. Not sure why this happens other then once a signal is sent for heat (steam) the machine has to finish a process before it can stop sending out steam. Therefore giving am overlay of like 3 mins. This 3 mins shoots the temp up. With the thermocouple in the substrate, the second it reaches 54°c, it'll turn back on.

@userelite-ck8hv this is hot is under 5 minutes. I can pasturize or sterilize over 150lbs at a time. Not sure how a pressure canner would be able to keep that kind of environment controlled with such a tiny outlet for steam. I've seen people on instagram try similar, just to spend a lot of money and ask for my plans after it didn't work. So by all means, feel free to give her a go. But don't be surprised if frustration enters. There's a reason no videos show that setup in use in bulk. Yet it's talked about a lot. Reason is, doesn't work.
