Bro trust me it’s shocking, I’d have never clicked on to it if it wasn’t for me trying the gamedac gen2 on Xbox and PS5 back to back.

With regards to the G7 se, I had been using the old 1000hrtz overclock version for the past 2 1/2 months, switched to the new update version yesterday, and noticed an increase in my precision. I also use the raw mode as well. I discovered this improvement when playing Project Cars 1 and noticed my precision and smoothness had increased from my previous experience of steering my car around a track. I play this game a lot so I can easily recognize the improvement. So the update to me is better than the old in that regard.

How are the bumpers on the g7 se ? Are they durable? Every talks about the sticks but the bumpers are what always start breaking on my Xbox elite series 2 so I’m just wondering.

@riisrunner1558 I have had no issues with the bumpers, even the triggers are precise, like the sticks, and can be adjusted in the app for various levels of responsiveness. The build quality of this controller has been solid to me. I have been using it since last October. Also, this controller uses the K- silver hall effect modules, which, as of right now, are the better modules.

The way you make content is fantastic not like other ordinary content. I have Gulikit kk3 aiming feels super weird because when I move joystick right it's perfectly registering but when I move the joysticks left it's not registering until I move little far from the center.

content has been great man any plans on covering the flydigi vader 3 pro?

I went from an Elite 2 remote of 4 years to the Stealth Ultra and I friggin love this remote!! No significant issues thus far and very comfortable!

@@maikelstapper4347 hey raw mode increases output at every value, so in game sensitivity has to match perfectly. After the 1000hz I prefer the raw mode off, reason being no hesitation anymore and keeping her raw mode off it reduces the register at rest, so I can avoid drift with a smaller deadzone of 2 instead of 4 in cod.

Hey thanks, yes I did for the one I have and it’s meant to be 1% every increment so not like the G7se, but again one of mine has that skew showing, where one side is 1300 something and the other 800 so 1.3 and .8 respectively. So better than stealth ultra but behind G7se. This honestly has me thinking if this lower resolution was used to get the HE sticks to feel a bit more responsive. Also it’s going to be difficult to judge aiming now as G7se has 1000hz and true 0 deadzone option so for a lot of people G7se is going to be the best choice. I’ll be making a video comparing the stealth and the G7se, thinking of adding the snakebyte as well coz when I want to play claw snakebyte is the best for my grip.

Is it finally showing in the windows store?

I think people have a problem with the G7 SE because it can be so sensitive that if you dont have your settings right it feels uncontrollable in certain situations. I compare it to a feeling of being on ice at times its so sensitive it can feel like you are sliding out of control.

There's a caveat my friend - consider this, how does the implementation of aim assist in MW3 interact with and impact the relevance of the resolution. And does the importance vary upon switching to a game with zero aim assist or significantly less. This is super interesting and I think I might be able to test it with aim assist off in public matches, it'll be brutal for me but should give some indication of difference in performance. I do have this method of finding the right sensitivity with aim assist off, btu usually do it in firing range only, I think playing with aim assist off is a good idea to check for this as well. EDIT: To answer your question at the end, absolutely I am interested, this is the kind of technical approach which we need, since we are saturated with SUBJECTIVE opinionated reviews, a combination of both like Haus gaming, optimum etc, is absolutely the way forward. It also allows consumers to be MUCH more informed with their buying choices. Optimums video on higher polling rates confirmed for me EXACTLY why I have never wasted money on 4K polling, and validated my always trying to sway folk from wasting their money. You guys help the consumer greatly.

I am interested in what resolution PowerA FUSION 3 has, and how it compares to other relatively more expensive controllers

Hey trying to find that was difficult as the numbers keep jumping around and it’s definitely seems on par with the elite series2. I’ll be doing this test for a lot of other controllers, so far only the stealth ultra has shown a low number, every other controller seems to be either on par with a PS controller, registering .8% at every increment or better.

the KK3 works on XBox with the Gulikit Goku adapter just like the KK2 did, people who own it on Reddit have stated it

The reason you have uneven values is likely because of the calibration on the stick. If the centre for your stick isn’t in the middle it still needs to send a centred value, so to compensate for that it will then need to either stretch or squash the resolution in either direction.

Hey so after the update they have changed output slightly but it’s only improved the diagonal inputs. I haven’t come across any way of reverting to the older firmware. The lower error was reached because of dead space in the diagonals, which the new firmware fixed. I’d say reach out to turtlebeach and see if they can provide a previous firmware version.

looks like the lower the better 👀 cuz i always like PS4/5 (DS4 still the best) over Xbox One controllers including the Series S|X standards,although i have XSS console

Hey yes but only the green ones, and only on controllers where I feel like using them give a uniform aim feel. Getting used to the purple ones can really make you depend on them too much. I think they are a perfect tool to get that right aim feel from controllers where the aim kinda feels disconnected a bit.

Something about the tb stealth ultra just seems better than my g7. The diagonals on my tb just seem to give me the aiming response im looking for when playing fps. Perhaps its a combination of stick tension and stick position offering different grip and leverage on the stick. I only use skull and co skin grips on each.

Hey Snakebyte gamepd pro still has the best triggers for me, but you mention Gambit and that’s a really good aiming experience, not only the favor union module it has uses a unique spring design, pdp have used a really good raw output on the sticks. If you are willing to adjust to HE sticks then yes snakebyte pro is a really good option, specially it’s build quality. There are some drawbacks with back buttons mapping and kontrolfreeks needing to be modify to fit, but overall definitely a solid performer. I’d say make up your mind if you want to commit to HE sticks coz you’ll definitely find them different, personally I think we should be making the effort to get used to them so we can get rid of bad game breaking drift.

I read somewhere that the lock on polling rate with Xbox was at the USB port and the wireless and or blue tooth that no matter the 1000hz on pc. On Xbox you would always see the same

Hey I got like 50% consistency rate on 1000mhz mode on the G7. Is that okay?

I'm so conufsed on what matters these days. I see polling rate isn't what it seems now via gamepadLA. The latency results are different. Then we have stick resolution. I'll say before I saw this video, I assumed my FlyDigi Apex 4 felt much better than my TB Stealth when I would do little aim circles in the firing range in Apex. I gotta say, i do think resolution, all gut based, would be the most important thing. I want to make sure my adjustments are fluid and smooth. What are your thoughts?

Hey so on surface yes G7se has more than double the resolution of the stealth ultra. Also it might me my right stick centre point is out and causing these issues, I’ve also tried many calibrations on controller and software. The point I’m trying to make and ask opinions is about this being an impact on performance. I honestly can tell you the controller feel great, for sniping, movement and recoil control everything feels good. There are certain things I can do better on G7se but that’s a discussion for it’s own video. Do you personally go for controllers based on this factor? Would appreciate the response.

the circularity test yields error above 11% on both sticks. and there is slight error in cantering but comparing to POT types and others cantering is good. But when you compare these hall effects to Gulikit.....these are not as tight .....Gulikit is superior. Hope you can obtain the long life performance of Gulikit to compare to these as well

This is exactly how I felt. I just recently got the GuliKit KK3 Max controller and on paper it seems perfect. 1000hz latency and Hall Effect thumbsticks. However, when I used it in game it felt HORRIBLE. The aiming feels washy and slippery to the point where I had to stop using it. Precision felt impossible. I was so excited for that controller too that I was especially disappointed when I noticed this. Like I said though, on paper it’s perfect, but this might explain why it felt so bad for me. Curious to see if anyone else notices the same issue.

I actually just recently tried it again yesterday to make sure I wasn’t psyching myself out, and my thoughts still stand. I play significantly worse when I’m using it, but maybe that’s just me? Looking forward to seeing you run some in depth tests on it.

gamesir g7 se/t4 there was a recent update in dec 20th 2023 which made the controller more precise and smooth and the raw mode on the controllers are at 10-11% instead of 14%

The normal G7 uses alps sticks and they are of higher quality than what’s found in the cheap controllers. If you are not seeing any output in gamepad tester than most likely something I’d wrong with the stick. Can you see in nexus if the shtick shows any register?

Hey I hope you mean G7se, I haven’t had to recalibrate in a while as my centre point seems to have stayed the same place. My springs are completely broken into and don’t seem to be changing much at all. I’ve mentioned this in another video, He sticks don’t seem to lose any resolution in use and the only thing I’ve noticed changing, is the spring tension and centre position.I’ll be making a video on the JH16 modules soon as I really like them and can share my true sorta long term use of them. So if you find your normal deadzones are still what you were using and sticks are reaching the maximum inputs linearly then you won’t need a recalibration at all. Triggers though can get out of calibration it seems, specially if you are using their full linear travel, so you might have to calibrate for the triggers and of course will need recalibration of the sticks as well.

I have the gamesir G7se. I do not think that it is sluggish by any means, and the 1000hz update is back out with update 6.30, so I recommend using 1000hz. I also would like to mention, do not use the "hair triggers". The way the "hair trigger" setting works on this controller is weird and it deactivates while the trigger is still in motion. That is the best way that I can describe that. I set the sliders to work like hair triggers and it made the experience better.

Hey so when I say sluggish I meant the release firmware, since then a good few updates have come out and 6.25 in particular changed the controller for me personally. 1000hz for sure is an amazing experience and intend to go for the G7se more than any of my other controllers. I’m working on a video sharing 1000hz experience on Xbox bs other controllers. Thanks for sharing bro!

I am now on update 6.30. The update has been done, but when I click on 1000hz an error appears.... Experimental feature the Headphone jack will be disabled. What is the solution?

@@ahm2dah3hhb50 That's just it, it's an experimental feature. Are you on PC or are you on Xbox? If you hit the question mark next to 1,000 Hertz on PC it'll say there's a script that you may have to download if it's not working right for you. For me I definitely could tell that the controller is s a lot more responsive. Also I have noticed that both times that they enabled the new mode, they deactivated the headphone jack. It must be necessary to do so. I'd recommend using a better way to get audio/chat anyway.

problem with xbox is they have built in dz thats whhy lots of players use ps
