Great vid, that is a drab part of Cardiff you stayed. Very near the heliport for police and air ambulance etc and near to the entrance to the docks. There are far better roundabouts to camp on around Cardiff. Hope you enjoyed your little stay here.

Billy it's definitely worth you getting a Dutch or US poncho to use as a tarp when in the bivvy, or for sitting around in the rain

I'm old enough to remember an elderly lady living on that roundabout in the late 1980's, early 1990s. She had a shopping trolley with all her worldly possesions in it🛒 I often thought about stopping to see if I could offer any help but I didn't. It's trickier for drivers than it is for pedestrians. Well done for discovering it!

I remember that lady, she used to pop up all over Cardiff, last time I saw her she was 'camping' up the wenallt on the side of the road! Fair play mind lots of people were stopping and giving her food and drink!

Cooking is key for me , what i look forward to watching stealth camping. 👌🏼.

Carrying a fixed blade knife could cause you extra problems if you ever get collared on a roundabout. I would look at something like the Spyderco UKPK as an alternative in case you do another night outside a police station.

Love a good old roundabout stealth camp ..😀👍why bother with campsites there boring...roundabouts ...you can watch the world go round...😆🤣🤣love it Billy keep it up buddy!!!

you should have camped on Coryton roundabout north of Cardiff! one of the biggest in Europe!!! so many places to camp and has an Asda, and Starbucks and other things right next to it

Great camp out go to see you out and a roundabout. Shame you forgot your gas and had to have a cold food and no hot drink but that's how these adventures go sometimes recorded as it is. 👍

Hi Billy, great stuff, there are some good ones as I'm sure you will appreciate around the Vale, slept in one past Rover Way in my bivvy bag when I had an awful migraine years ago, burrowed in tight as a bug. Always eyeing up a good spot!

I like Camillus knives. I have one that I carry for camping, along with a couple of Moras. Camillus used to make aircrew survival knives for the US military, and I have one of those too.

the food looked more grim than the weather. An excellent roundabout to contemplate life

Spent 5 hours in Hollyhead back in the early 2000s waiting on a ferry to Ireland and discovered Welsh Sausage Rolls in the snack bar needless to say i spend nearly $50 usd on pasties and sausage rolls. Welsh comfort foods are insanely delicious and incredibly cheap. to this day i have not found anything that compares to them...

Aww man forgetting things is the worst, you’re brave in that style bivvi, I’ll eventually move on to that sort of set up. Atm I’m in a highlander blackthorn, blends in pretty well being camo but with a tiny bit more room 😉

There's a massive roundabout (clutch of roundabouts just outside of Whitchurch in Cardiff, in sight of Castel Coch too, you'd have been stuck for choice there, the other side of Cardiff from where you ended up mind. Close to where you were though is the Magic Roundabout too, that might've been a bold stealth attempt mind...

Hey Billy, you should buy a camo hunting pants/shirt and or jacket, used by hunters. Sometimes you can buy the whole outfit cheaper. Although , they may be more expensive over there.

It's lucky you didn't come to Swansea, it's the wettest city in the UK! Definitely bring a tarp to Swansea... Foods are often packed in nitrogen, crisps definitely are.

Perhaps the most professional stealth camper out there. Does he ever get flustered? Methodical AF and fully determined to get the job done Great work mate.

Fair play that must of been hell spending all that time in such a small space. Well done for managing to film in there, camera almost made the bivi look spacious.

I got rid of my inflatable mattress, too unreliable and a puncture is the last thing you want to be dealing with when you're trying to sleep. I replaced it with two small foam pads. It turns out you only need support and insulation for your main body and the whole rest of a large mat is completely pointless.

Your spend the night in the Police station if u walk around cardiff city centre with that big knife on your belt. Keep up the good work. Very entertaining

What’s the reason for roundabouts over other places ?

First glance at the thumbnail I thought you were in a suit of Armour

sounds counter intuitive, but a high viz vest might make entering these roundabouts look less suspicious as you'll just look like some kind of highways or grounds worker

That didn't seem like the most enjoyable roundabout. I bet the Tim Hortons tasted extra good though.
