Converting my 17' Uhaul box van/box truck into a mobile tiny home.
In part 21, I finish the refrigerator cabinet. Above the 10.1 cubic foot residential refrigerator I installed a residential window A/C unit along with ducting that allows me to direct the cold air into either the bed area or the living area. Modern geometric wallpaper is applied to the passthrough wall along with footholds to assist in entering the bed area.

You should put a good water filter on the AC drain and run it into your water tank.. replenish your water supply as you keep cool.. that can be up to 3 gallons in 24hr period.. I know that doesn't sound like a lot.. but,off grid, every drop,is worth it's weight in gold and, could even save your life if it's running on rooftop solar . Say you break down a hundred miles from nowhere.. you can get enough water to cook, stay clean and hydrated.. just an idea.. PS... I think you should have used a floor model AC

Everything from the watch, editing, to the spec to the more expensive but great longevity choices I don’t mind any wait on your video uploads. I applaud you and doing it’s right the first time. Taking many precautions have me so much perspective into my build. Your the Michael Jordan of van conversions. Only criticism would be letting us your kmow your prices per project/video or sq ft

I've watched another van build that did wallpaper, it ended up not being a good choice for them since the trucks can go through dramatic temperature changes quickly and their paper peeled off, but they didn't insulate nearly as well as you, so I'm sure yours will be fine.

Looks good. Might want to consider adding turning vanes to the ductwork to direct the airflow in the directions you want it to go. Right now, the air exits the A/C and slams into the back wall of the ductwork, then turbulent air eventually makes it out into the living spaces. Probably wont even notice it, but you seem to be a stickler for precision and efficiency. If the ductwork shakes or rattles, turbulence is likely the cause.

Yeah I'm already looking to fine-tune the ducting. It definitely needs vanes, I just have to figure out how to make them in a way that allows me to direct the air left or right.

@@TheTechnoBarbarian looks like your AC has six discharge ports; Don't know how big your sleeping area is, but I would consider putting a splitter plate in the duct, sending two ports to the sleeping area and four into the main living area. Then, install a couple of vanes in each.

My ducting inhibits the cooling power pretty significantly, it will take some tuning. It makes 100 degrees bearable though.
