Oh Becca……kiddo I hate to do this BUT…..hotels are not just for people visiting or passing through. I was a police dispatcher for 17 years. Drug dealers will actually rent rooms & move drugs in & out of their rooms. Had I not worked on the other side of the law I NEVER would have thought that. They pay cash..because ya know they have it. Makes their deals throughout the next few days/nights then head out to restock. NOT saying this happens at a lot or even all hotels. But yeah just be careful out there & ALWAYS check your surroundings & people before you get in the truck for the night. Smart thinking on making sure there wasn’t anything “interesting” to someone wondering by your truck. Always enjoy watching your videos. PS…..back country is always better than inner city. 😉. Friday the 13th, Jason & Crystal Lake are all fiction. 😂

Good for you! I did it this spring in NY state driving back from South Carolina. I found a couple of cheap hotels along the highway all bunched together so I knew they didn't check the cars. I parked in the back but under a light pole to be safe. No problem!!👍

The difference is that probably 99.9% of the cars at any hotel are out of town travelers, so they’re going to have more personal belongings with them and many will leave things in the car, too tired, or too complacent thinking,”I’m here ONE night, it’ll be fine.” WRONG! It’s a target rich environment for thieves! Some people either don’t realize they’ve been broken into until they’re already on the road and then can’t find the item they’re now looking for, or they don’t bother with police reports(again, out of towners), and is it really worth driving all the way back for an item(s), IF they are found by the police in a week or 6 months from now? Probably not, I’d guess at least 85-90% of the time. You get the idea, we could get pretty deep in the weeds on this. Great channel, stoked to see you doing practical things on it, and real life “survival” skills, and being aware of your own surroundings. 🤙🏼

Sup Becca, I'm guilty I've used that thin crust dough but for stuffed ring dishes, but yours sat our too long, you don't stretch or ball it🤣, it comes out cold more solid can just follow seam and unroll it, cool idea truck camping there, and went for a cocktail (I don't drink hard booze anymore cuz can't stop, I'd drink 60 beers if had $$, so limit 15 a say🤞) and a to go Shirley temple, so atleast contributed right, they are very dangerous tho, even if look in don't see anything they have stripped for wires, change, the radio ect.. I'd always have a rifle or shotgun according to hunting seasons lol, say I'm sleeping in vehicle cuz hunting in morn and can't leave it alone in truck😂, wish they were buying but great to see some fishing, 😳 it's spring so maybe small house camping survival with Lila and sky? A weekend just bring basics? Know very busy now so doggie play date when things calm down, wanted a shorter comment lol but 🤷, we love the content, keep the girl power going 👍, tyvm tc 🎣 Bedding not buying lol. Hey Becca! Content is fire as always. I use that pizza crust all the time. Couple tips - In the can it's already a rectangle shape but rolled up. Once you take the dough out, look for the edge and it will roll out. Also, parchment paper! Put that down on your pan before laying your dough down, saves on clean up! The regular dough says to precook it for 9 minutes, dress it up then bake for another 9 minutes. It's perfection. My favorite pizza sauce is Contadina brand AND it comes in a squeeze bottle! :) So awesome to see you fishing again! Love that color spinner bait! Just bought a ton of new Googan baits, including that Love Grub, AND used your code. Thanks for saving me some ca$h! Really enjoyed this one! Stay safe out there. You're a badass! 🎣💪🏻🏳‍🌈

Good call driving around the parking lot once before settling in. I drove into a hotel lot on a business trip once and immediately saw a hooker, abandoned cars and some other things. Going inside there were bars on the check-in desk. It was late so I was stuck for the night. Definitely looked under the mattress though. I might have chosen a little away from the windows...seems to me most likely to get complaints from someone staying in that room freaking out about you outside their window. Oh, i see you sort of realized this partway through.:) I stay at one to three hotels a year, hotels without parking garages with somewhat large lots, and I have never been given a sticker or placard to put in my car. They do sometimes ask for my license plate number at check in but usually are fine if i just say make and model, so i dont think they use the info for any security checks.... Be well!

You should try making two ingredient pizza dough! It is easy to make! Just mix a cup of self rising flour with 3/4 cups of plain yogurt. I like to use plain Greek yogurt! Then you roll the dough out and top it with crushed tomatoes, any spice that you like, and any cheese that you like (my favorite is Trader Joe's Quatro fromagi) and whatever toppings you like! It makes a really good pizza! Bake it at 400° f until it is crispy!

I used to live in a hotel room with a bunch of guys and we all worked at the same temp service This was out near the old airport in Denver. If you went one street off East Colfax Avenue nothing but hookers and drug dealers for miles. Most of those one story hotels have been condemned by now and the business has dried up. I had many people follow me to my hotel room. After they pounded on the door and some of my big roommates answered the door we got left alone. That was the beginning of 1994. After that I got a pay by the week place downtown Denver for $65 a week for a room. Another condemned

Becca, greetings on the day before my birthday. FTLOG, get yourself 2 totes for thunk camping. Write on one, essential ingredients for truck camping. Keep a ziploc bag with paper, a pencil and pencil sharpener to write down what you need as essential supplies. Carry it into your house and top it up. The other one, label pots pans and various cutlery. Again if there is anything you realize you need you keep a pad in pencil and a pencil sharpener in a ziploc bag and write down what you needed for essential utensils and cookware. You will find that you eventually have everything you need and if you keep them in totes, write down what you need and replace with those items, you will not be caught short handed. Naturally liquids, such as cooking oils, pickles and such, you will have to stop for. But propane, camp fuel and essential items should always be part of you checklist before you leave your driveway. We in Canada have perfected this checklist. Yes we learned over time like you are doing now, but the ziploc bag and labeling the totes will make sure you never forget anything. A Coleman stove should always be an essential with a quart of fuel. Just in case you forgot the small disposable propane tanks! Best wishes dear girl!😀🇨🇦🐾❤️

Motel parking lots are hit and miss. Thieves know the peeps are likely out of town and will probably be asleep fairly early so messing with the car is kind of risk free, of course that changes if they have security patrols and whatnot. Parking at 24/7 places is always better, they dont know when you might walk out of the business and catch them..Good fishin'!
