It seems that no matter where you go, yobs have found it, trashed it and left. It has always astounded me that, yobs can pack in a case of beer, massive amounts of canned food etc but not pack it out empty. I was always under the impression empty cans and bottles weigh less than full ones, who knew I was wrong, judging by the number of tin cans and bottles left lying around woodlots and Park land. Cheers my friend.

If there are specific areas that are always a mess I would suggest camera traps to try and catch who it is, I'm not sure if you could pass footage to police and try to prosecute for trespassing. In answer to your question if I had private woodland I would be annoyed and in the politest way I loathe and despise people who litter.

@@ParanormalExplorers 11:30 , I used to camouflage my tent like this around a haunted wood. Last time I did it was 4 years ago with some strange experiences, simply because there was a heavy rain storm but Footsteps' sounds (like human) were walking around my spot for almost 3 hours with some fucking weird voices like THEY were talking something by not actual LANGUAGE but it was like a group of people were talking,I didn't even know how to describe. You hear it, you know it but you can't understand whether it's real or not. :))).Lucky for me before it happened, I had put a ton of green leafs, many dirty things on my tent ⛺, I didn't get panicked because of it :))))

@@ParanormalExplorers I didn’t use camo net either, It’s too man-make. I used everything which was available on the nature such as 🍁,grass, even some trees on it. The idea is you make your whole spot like it’s totally nature’s grassy trashes on the outside. Im Asian we were taught about spiritual world when we were a kid which caused me fully aware about things that we don’t see.Honestly because of it, I built my own natural fortress even(things) didn’t recognize it. I chose a spot where trees 🌳 and grasses covered from the outside (stay away from dense trees or high and dense trees with fruits on it, I love camping in the rain storm so that’s a No NO No for me). If I camp for 2 or 3 days, I will pick a certain spot near the river bank (many bushes near it), make 2 🕳 holes, one for pooping and the last one for hiding my camping stuff. Back to that experience, It wasn’t too scary Because I had already prepared perfectly with tons of natural stuff on the outside with the thought (If those were HUMAN in the middle of woodland, there’s no freaking way They could use their bare hands to take out my stuff in the Dark(too dark), even when they did? they couldn’t get it, It was too dark for human eyes.Besides,no one’s ever done that kind of thing).(THEY,IT) were merely walking around my spot with some fucking shits If i wasn’t wrong , It looked sounded like a group of human (Like i said their voices were just little, with the wind and storm along with those),their 🦶 sounds sometimes i heard just like they were flowing on the grass and bushes, some were identical human footsteps.

Years back I had somewhere that was really secluded, I had a raised bed platform built and a perfect low hanging bough for a tarp, but the local dumb yoofs kept on ruining it, leaving their pallet fires, disposable bbq's, weird spoon/foil/needle paraphernalia, motorbike riding and trashed tesco tents, I simply couldn't keep up with it. Every time I tried to find a land owner to secure a place it was a three headed hydra of Duchy of Cornwall, farmer, leader of the birdshoot/breeders/drivers, no one could give me a yes because another would say no...

In my local woodland where I hammock camp, I had to tidy away a huge firepit, half burned freshly cut trees cut and move huge boulders back away from the pit. In doing so, I revealed a stash of... how shall I say, 'greenery' in little plastic bags. They cut down about four living trees for burning, which, of course, didn't actually burn... ...PLONKERS... It took about three hours to undo the mess the best I could. Please be aware Dan, they are unlikely to be just 'kids'.

I had permission on some land, I used to tidy it up when teens been there and left mess everywhere. But it got to the point the land owner told me I couldn't use it anymore even though I was respectable and never caused any problems. Just by letting one person on land everyone else thinks it's ok . Gutted

Once again, I happened upon a couple of stealth campers. I was out with the dogs, 07:30, and walked right into their camp. They were 60, if they were a day ... which was quite surprising. Anyway, Guys, that's way too late in the morning to be breaking camp, when you're on someone's land without permission. Get up with the light, move well away, find a public spot and THEN you can deal with breakfast.

@@stephenlambert9826 It wasn't my land. My first thought was to chill 'em out, by assuring them that I sometimes camp in these same woodlands. It's a sweet little camping spot, near to the Wolds Way, and quite a few people choose it. But, the 'rules of stealth-camping' do work, and it's wise to follow them ... "in late, out early".

My friends and I have been wild camping in the Derbyshire peaks for nearly 20 years. In the last 5 years the amount of rubbish we find in the popular spots in maddening. We all take a spare Asda bag with us these days simply for carting out other people's trash. Even the skiddy wet-wipes get collected. We leave every site we use spotless. Sadly there is nothing we can do about the savages ripping branches off healthy trees which strips the bark so the tree later dies. They are also putting up hammocks using paracord, so that saws through the bark. I want to take my son wild camping when he is old enough, but I fear it will be ruined by then.
