You looked quite bored on this trip. I think you like it better when you guys head out together. I enjoy that too. And I think it's great that you are conscience of current events and taking part. I feel we all should do what we can, if we can. I grew up in the backwoods of Mo. and our nearest neighbor was about a 1/4 mile away but if anyone took sick or had hardships fall on them then all the neighbors would come to cook dinner for the family, do household chores or take care of the children the farm animals and fields. It was such a pleasure to do that, to be there for someone in need and comforting to know that we were also looked out for.

I like the fact that you mentioned food banks, for some people they are real world problems.. I think that it's terrible that they are required but they do help so many people. Good on you for helping the food banks out.

I actually really enjoyed this video, really chilled out, great sounds from the birds and the wind…. Great green countryside…. I really like how natural you are, not everything is perfect but in life not everything is perfect. Don’t worry about what people think, do what you enjoy doing Dan, whether it’s solo camping or group camping…it doesn’t really matter… you’ll find a lot of people comment but never leave their homes and go camping at all. We enjoy your content and what you do, keep doing it Dan ! I love your content as it reminds me of everything I miss about the UK, the people the countryside etc… The food bank is a serious issue, here in Australia it’s the same, more people than you think do rely on food banks so it’s a great cause if you can help. I spent a days driving around collecting food donations here and it’s easy volunteering but it does help them and they always need more help and support.

To be totally honest. I really agree that the government don't care. Why would they. Most on 100 grand a year plus expenses. And like you. I worry about others that don't have enough. And the only ones who don't care are the "I'm alright jack". They never worry unless it happens to them. It's a sad world at times. And yes. I watch your content for the camping. The humour. And the reviews. But we all live this life. So the topic of conversation is fine by me. Keep it up Dan.

I respect people who can bring up serious topics and don't just want to be a blank personality behind a video channel. People will complain that rock stars shouldn't talk politics and should "keep to making music", what the heck is rock and roll if not entirely political in nature? Don't listen to people who tell you to not bring up things you're passionate about because you should stick to one topic. Expression doesn't work in a 2 dimensional plane. I expect nothing less from real human beings, this isn't a movie, you aren't an actor, it's not scripted, no one is your Director and can tell you "stick to the script man". Ignore those people, they like to live blind in La La Land and ignore real life, that's not fair to you. And I appreciate it, I was a hungry kid and a lot of my food came from and still comes from food banks. I like to know that people care, it means a lot more than just an entertaining video with some background music.

Nothing beat a quiet night alone outside. Real/drytech is by far my favourite. The fill line you pointed at are there so you do not need to think about the amount of water, just pour in until the water are at the fill line. If it is hard to see, fold the bag at the fill line, then you can see the fold mark on the inside.

Since the cancer made it so I can't work any more. If it wasn't for the food banks here ,I would be in really bad shape. There are a few companies that donate to them and I go once a week. My disability pays my bills with not a lot left over and I'm very grateful for the help I get and if my garden b produces well I plan on giving some back to the people that help me when I need it. There is no shame getting a hand up. But people that take advantage of the system turn it into a hand out. That is shameful. Dwayne

My USA family owns a bit of farmland. THEY appreciate knowing WHO is using their land a bit in advance. Crops cost a good bit to plant and nurture. 'Wildfire/Campfire' is not necessarily welcome during the drying stages of grain development. Each field can run for hundreds of acres and each field can represent a good bit of capital at risk. 'Stealth Camping' does not strike us as necessary. Making oneself known and having permission doesn't need to affect selecting a stealthy location or using 'stealthy' skills.

Enjoyed the video, seems like a decent person. Wants to give to the food bank which is great. The Geer Top Bivvy is a good one person tent. But man, for a Canadian this fellow is very difficult to follow with his heavy(to us), British accent.

Good on you about the Food Bank contribution, but keep a stock of tins yourself too as nobody really knows how bad things might get in the nearest future. I like the way that Hooped Bivi is set up, but it looks a bit flimsy in the material department?
