Steal This Video (2002) // 1080p HD Remastered // The Razors Am Video
Спорт
Steal This Video was filmed and edited by Jan Welch in 2002. It features the skating of the Razors Am Team, who were some of the best skaters of that period. Many of the skaters in this video went on to receive pro skates from various brands, and most of them still skate today. The video featured profiles on Sean Kelso, Micah Yeager, Eric Perkett, Dustin Jones, Mike French, Tory Treseder, Damien Wilson, Colin Kelso, Jason Howard, Dustin Halleran, Mike Johnson, Boschi Pope, Charles Dunkle, and Jeff Stockwell.
Unfortunately, I had to remove the Charles Dunkle section from the video because KZread blocked it the first two times I uploaded it because of the Neil Young song used for his profile. If Neil Young ever allows his music to appear on KZread, I will reupload the video. Until then, you can watch the entire video with the Charles Dunkle section on my Patreon page at / thenandnowblading .
The skaters appearing in this video in order of appearance are Josh Amacher, Dre Powell, Kevin Dowling, Frazer Watson, Eric Perkett, Billy O'Neill, Jon Elliott, Damien Wilson, Brian Shima, Sean Kelso, Dustin Halleran, Colin Kelso, Dustin Jones, Jeff Stockwell, Mike Johnson, Iain McLeod, Jason Howard, Tory Treseder, Micah Yeager, Mike French, Boschi Pope, Charles Dunkle, Aiden Charles, Alex Nunez, Mike Albritton, and Omar Wysong.

i use to watch this on VHS at home when i was like 10 years old and they were all my idols... every afternoon, after watching the movie i went out to skate and my dream was to be like them. Still my heros for ever. Thank you so much!
YES! Damien Wilson's part is the single coolest piece of Aggressive Inline film I've ever seen. Remember being blown completely away by the music, his style, the tricks, the angles... Perfection.
Seeing Eric's gap in that clarity ... wow ... just wow. I must have watched it 20 times but that just hits different.

I forgot how technical M. Yeager part was. Neg mak on a chamfered drop ledge 😲Also heel rolling that same ledge seems ultra precarious. Stockwell was so influential to me at that time. Still absolutely love that part.

I remember watching this by the snack bar at Eisenbergs when it came out right after my 14th birthday and almost shitting myself!!! Thank you so much!!!
I can't thank you enough for posting this. It was the first skating vhs that I saw, and it truly had an impact on me. The skaters, the music, everything is perfectly coordinate to hype you up for your next session. The quality of this upload really made my day. I love every part, but the section with the biggest influence on me personally was Stockwell.

I started skating in late 1994 in Japan and since then, I bought all the skate videos; by the year 2006, I had over 40 VHS skate videos. But I made the wrong decision to give them all to a friend of mine before I moved to Taiwan where I still reside and until a year ago, I regretted it so much. Fortunately, I found your channel and now I can watch all my favorite videos right here at any time. You are a life savior, Jan Welch. I fully appreciate all your work. Cheers
This video will always be my fav. I still have spookybladers vhs copy.

@@JanWelch was that first try? Doesn't look like a gap you'd want try more than once. Even though that clip was viral I think it has always been kind of overlooked... I can't think of anything bigger gapped on extreme sport (apart from skis), even the Haffey "failed" gap from Drip Drop looks ridiculous next to this one. Erik has always been such an interesting skater, in a league of his own. Thank you for making this available Jan, I was literally thinking if this clip would make it in one of your shorts yesterday.

Thank you for all you have done for rollerblading "then and now". Really was the most exciting time, this video made me passionate about skating and made my friend passionate about filming. We made a load of edits and met Chris Peel, and he helped us hold a competition in Skipton North Yorkshire. It was unbelievable. Thanks again.

I can't believe I never saw this video. I was still skating during this time as well. I love that more rock and punk music was being used in skate videos around that time and This video uses some great songs. I was happy to hear some alkaline trio in there as well, but music aside so many amazing skaters in this. Thanks for remastering this as well as putting all the other stuff you did out there again for everyone to see. These make me nostalgic as fuck

The Faint- Agenda Suicide... Always loved that one!!!
This intro has the best non-skating cuts. They're not just clips of them hanging out, it's charged stuff that we know and go through before and after tricks. After the first trick. The guys just walking away hyped at what they just saw. Right before kelso's stair bank to 540, when he kind of mimics the motion of his trick Checking the video after the kelso front torque
nice soundtrack.

You see a lot of where the current seen comes from in this video amazing, and skating aside. One of my favorite soundtracks. Great mix of highs, lows, rock, and rap. Great flow. When the Biggie and Bone song hits around the 20 min mark it’s like a hip hop crescendo and then mellows out a bit a few songs later… I could skate to this in my headphones

I would Love to hear commentary on your thoughts on why they were and what made guys go from am to pro … I know some are Obvious like Aragon . But at the time a lot Of us felt that some ams were better than the pros , so it would be cool To hear your thoughts on it cuz you were on the inside of it all
