STAYING AT AN 18TH CENTURY ENGLISH MANOR HOUSE + Stourhead Gardens | UK Travel Ep. 4
Spending a weekend squirrelled away in an 18th century restored Georgian manor house is the thing of dreams and this was a dream I didn't quite want to wake up from! I was here to photograph the spectacular Shrewton House so thought I'd take you with me and give you a guided tour of the property and a little glimpse into our time here. If you're looking for a large country estate to hire for a big family holiday or a wedding, this beauty has got to be on the list.
As we say goodbye to Shrewton House we head to the world renowned Stourhead House and Gardens, former home to the Hoare family. Strapped for time, we didn't quite manage to spend as much time wandering the gardens as we would have liked but we'll take you on a good tour around the house instead and I'll return to share the gardens with you over the next month or so as it gets its autumn coat on
N.B. As I was staying at the manor to photograph the house and grounds for work, I didn't pay for the accommodation, it was kindly gifted by the owners.

Thank you so much for being here on our adventures :) Aww, Heidi really is an absolute sweetheart, we couldn't be more blessed. We've always tried to encourage her to be outdoors in nature as much as possible and to take in her surroundings. I love getting to see her wonder at the world 😍

It’s a gorgeous property isn’t it?! 😍
This is a fine video featuring the FAMILY as much as the destinations.
The Georgian Era was a period in British history from 1714 to c. 1830-1837, named after the Hanoverian kings George I, George II, George III and George IV. The definition of the Georgian era is also often extended to include the relatively short reign of William IV, which ended with his death in 1837. 🏰👑⚔️🛡️🇬🇧🛡️⚔️👑🏰
What a lovely place!🥰

I love old places like this. They have so much history!
That manor looks like my Uncle Fraisors home in Kentucky. History -It was a relative of Abe Lincolns.
I liked the historical info better than tourism
