What's interesting is Charlie hits all the high notes that are replaced by recordings during JB and Laroi's concerts. I'm not saying they can't hit the notes, but the fact Charlie can do it consistently is incredible.

One can barely fathom what may continue to spring from that imagination, those skills, that creative sincerity & generosity. If he only knew how so many of us wish they could touch keys like that, lift a voice like that, express words like that, find the emotional soul of a lyric like that. I love Charlie and his songs but this is a cover… he helped write a couple parts of this. He didn’t sing it. And the rights to ownership doesn’t belong to Charlie… therefore it is a cover of stay. And when he does sing it, he calls it a cover of “stay”
