Stay aware when hiking using bone conduction! 😯 RunnerDiver2 review.

The biggest problem with earbuds or headphones is that you get totally unaware of your surroundings... bone conductive headphones will let you listen to your favorite music and at the same time hear the lovely sound of nature... or cars!
In today’s review of the NANK Runner Diver2 i will go into the specs, fit and basics and to see if it is any good when it comes to the sound quality and, the sound level and compare it a bit against the biggest competitor, SHOKZ.

I've seen these a bit now and then but didn't really see the need myself. You make a point with them. I don't have any sound in my ears during the day, but I really like an audio book when I crawl into my sleeping bag at night and then normal in-ears will work.

Thank you very much for a nice video on an interesting topic! Enjoyed watching it! Personally, I haven't thought about listening to music while hiking before as I enjoy nature's sounds so much.

That bridge..... What in the world? Anyway, I don't listen to music on the trail. Sometimes in camp I'll play some Trampled By Turtles real low, but never with earbuds. Too many dead trees and branches looming overhead to let my guard down like that. Don't want to get snuck up on by no Sasquatch, neither.

That bridge is from a hike last summer on Östgötaleden and a ravine/canyon called Getåravinen, a beautiful place near Norrköping. I’m not worried about a Sasquatch 😄 but don’t listen to music except right before going to sleep… makes me relax a bit before turning of the light. But some do and that’s why I wanted to try these and see how good they were.

@@roberthammenrudh That is a nice looking piece of wilderness. Looks a lot like something you'd see in the Pacific Northwest.

I have been using the shokzs for several years now. Really like them for having background music and still being able to hear what is going on around me. Also works well connected to the phone for calls. One feature the shokzs have is the ability to have two source devices connected. Only one of them can be active, but you can switch between them without having to "discover" a new device. Originally, I got them for hiking, but now I use them all the time. Great for going to the stores or the bar. As you noted, sound quality is not the best. Good enough, but not great. A big con for me is the shokz's proprietary charging port. I hate this, even though it is a cool magnetic connector. ~S

About my to cents as well, I think these can have multiple devices connected but haven’t tested that feature, works well if you keep them on and hopping in and out of the car anyways… reconnect every time with no fuss.

It’s the most famous budget friendly down jacket, the MT100 from Decathlon.

I bet the silicone strap is used to attach the thing to the back of your jacket to not lose it when you accidentally move it. They exist for caps as well, to not lose them in wind. And it's just always there to grab. Or it's just to hang it on your bag. Cool product, would be good for all the cyclists in the Netherlands.

People who constantly have to listen to music often have a problem with themselves and it can actually be a symptom of anxiety or depression.😅

Hmm, maybe or maybe not! 🤷🏼‍♂️ I have a daughter who listens to music a lot and she have her earbuds constantly around the neck or in the ears! She likes having them for concentration and to shield herself from other noise she can’t control… besides also for the love of music of course! She by the way approved this headphones… wore them a full day and liked them a lot, surprisingly good sound she said!
