I promised my dad I'd finish college and have career possibilities before getting married. I never thought I'd need it. I just knew I was meant to be a sahm. I was, until the abuse started. I left after 12 years and 3 kids. I had to work and support us. Best move I ever made. It doesn't have to be college. It can be a trade or certification. Have something you can do! It makes it easier if you ever need to support yourself and our kids. I got no alimon, and he didn't pay court ordered child support. I dont know what i would have done if i couldn't have gone back to the workforce with a career job.

Some of those women are just lazy and ignorant and if the man says it's over what is she gonna do with no job or income?
Stay at home dad here, 8 years. Just saying, some of us aren't moms :)
