I know some don't Rate StatusQuo cover albums very much but I think they do sometimes excellent versions of rock classics.... And this live version is one of them. You don't want it to stop ! More solos, please Mr Rossi !!

Just imagine summer 1965 at Butlins Minehead. Rick walks in as the spectres rehearse the likes of Rock n Roll Music and the rest is history. Who would agree that the encore is pure 1965! The look on the face of Francis is priceless as he opens up with that classic Chuck Berry intro its like hold tight here we go!

I still think these guys have such obvious energy and enjoyment at what they do, that at age 57, when I feel down, I crank up these dudes and get energized for the day. It is still a mystery to me as to why these musicians didn't at the very least, outsell, now what was their name? Oh yeah! I think it was the aptly named "Monkees!" Circus Boy, Davey Jones, and oh yes, I think one guy could actually play the guitar. What a waste of talent! We in the US have missed out!

Gunwife, they are the absolute best band live. The atmosphere they create has to be seen to be believed. They're all getting on a bit now (about my age) but they can't half get a crowd going still. Quo covers rock like no other group. Next to always better then the original. Picking up an old Chuck tune and bringing it to live in a way even Chuck failed. Dont get me wrong, I like Berry, but this is intence. The energy is insane. In short, this is what RnR is all about.

Those of us in our 60's,,,this is OUR music!!! You young punks can have all of the bands today that all sound alike and have to have a gimmick to tell them apart. Quo is pure Rock and Roll.

this version by status quo was awesome...very high energy..has the energy that the song originally was supposed to have..these guys sure know how to rock..everything is in perfect harmony.. the guitar work is superb...oh well guess i better start practicing more guitar...after hearing this exceptional band..

I still think these guys have such obvious energy and enjoyment at what they do, that at age 57, when I feel down, I crank up these dudes and get energized for the day. It is still a mystery to me as to why these musicians didn't at the very least, outsell, now what was their name? Oh yeah! I think it was the aptly named "Monkees!" Circus Boy, Davey Jones, and oh yes, I think one guy could actually play the guitar. What a waste of talent! We in the US have missed out!

Nobody plays it like Quo. It's the incessant single-note on the bass and Mr Parfitt's chord hammer-ons that define the Quo sound. Wonderful!

Gunwife, they are the absolute best band live. The atmosphere they create has to be seen to be believed. They're all getting on a bit now (about my age) but they can't half get a crowd going still. Quo covers rock like no other group. Next to always better then the original. Picking up an old Chuck tune and bringing it to live in a way even Chuck failed. Dont get me wrong, I like Berry, but this is intence. The energy is insane. In short, this is what RnR is all about.
Every time I see Rick on video, I can't believe that we will never hear him real life again. Christmas 2016 was the worst in my life.
