Still one of the best show openers of all time. Instant hit to the system and it only ever gets better from here onwards. I first saw the Quo fifty years ago! FIFTY YEARS!! They have never let me down since. Value for money. Great sound. Such fun. Thank you and long may you continue...

I'm from the States, and discovered these guys on KZread several years ago. I remembered their hit Pictures of Matchstick Men a long time ago. Closet band in the US to them might be Cheap Trick. I'd love to see SQ in concert, but since they don't come to the states, that would require a trip to the UK. Maybe some day, and take in a few football matches while I'm there.

That was a brilliant day, what an atmosphere, and what a genius piece of organization putting the Hells Angels and Bandidos on their own terrace bar right in the center of town. Saw 3 gendarmes all day not one of them looked more than 22. Then Quo to finish , Francis Rossi interaction with the audience was top , turns to his band mate ' have we been here before?' bandmate ' yeah 2012 , ' Rossi ' Really? Can't remember that , mind you without my medication I can't remember where I was this morning', then back to his mate 'Ah so what none of them can understand what I'm saying anyway'. I rode back over the pass down to Cluses (1340 evo Springer )about 2am , everywhere around the thunder of Harley Davidsons. Well done to everyone who made it such a fantastic day.

yep, incredible! i was conceived and born with their music! back there in 1968 my Father used to listen BBS of london and Shortwave radio, and i was born the same day Pictures of Matschstick men premiered in Mexico..... is a pleasure to know they still rock!

My first intro to SQ was Pictures Of Matchstick Men. Been a solid fan since then. I love all SQ incarnations equally, because history doesn't often repeat itself. As long as Francis is leading the band...they can't lose. Move over Mick Jagger, Francis has taken the stage! Lookin better too I might add. Time has been good to ya. Keep on rockin' Mr Rossi, cuz you're lookin' so damn good. :)

If Rossi wants to continue then stop critassing a rock legend. Good on yet keeping rock n roll alive. All the best of British are passing away. All this country can produce are talentless. Hello ! J'ai 61 balais et je suis un fan de SQ depuis "dog of two heads". J'ai tous leurs albums (même le tout dernier) ... mais bon, l'humilité aurait voulu qu'après le décès de Rick Parfitt le groupe s’arrête par respect. C'est un peu comme si Mikkey Dee avait prolongé Motorhead après le décès de Lemmy pfff ! Alan Lancaster doit se ronger les ongles dans sa tombe. Francis Rossi, pour qui j'ai beaucoup de respect, aurait du sortir un album solo de country rock, je sais qu'il aime ça, mais peut être que le label "SQ" rapporte encore trop de sous, ... navrant :o)

@@chrisderen4231 Bonjour. D'après ce que je sais, Parfitt est décédé d'une septicémie durant des vacances en Espagne en 2016 (déjà) et vraiment personne ne s'attendait à cela. Je suis un fan invétéré du Quo et je les suis depuis leurs débuts ou presque. J'ai même acheté leur dernier album "Backbone" et je trouve que Parfitt y manque beaucoup. Je ne parle même pas de sa rythmique, mais de sa voix. Le Quo a vendu autant, voire plus de disques que les Stones depuis les années 70 et ce qui me dérange profondément, c'est le mal qu'ont ces grosses machines commerciales à baisser le rideau à cause très certainement de leur maison de disque. SQ c'est génial, mais on ne va pas se mentir, sorti de "Piledriver", "Quo", "Hello", "On the leve" et "Blue for you", l'on est entré dans une certaine forme juteuse du folklore du breat rock depuis déjà "In the army now", ... non ?

Tous les fans savent que Malcolm était un peu l’âme du groupe et en ce qui me concerne, le malaise avait déjà commencé à la mort de Bon Scott, mais bon. Je suis très nostalgique de tous ces groupes qui ont accompagnés mon adolescence et une partie de ma vie, mais j'ai du mal à accepter qu'ils soient devenus des "marques commerciales" qu'il faut garder en vie pour faire de l'argent. D'ailleurs si l'on écoute bien l'avant et l'après des changements, l'on se rend bien compte que l'alchimie disparait bien souvent après !

I've seem the Francis Rossi Band. They did a tour in 2019 in support of Francis Rossi's solo slbum. This band isn't the same one, although Leon did play in the Francis Rossi Band.

Einer der Gründer von Quo ist tot, der Schlagzeuger der Stones, Karat und der Puhdys sind tot, Sänger von Queen und viele andere. Irgendwie kastriert es die Bands und sie sind nicht mehr das, was sie waren. es macht keinen Spass, wenn sie wie Firmen mit neuen Mitarbeitern weiter machen. Ich wünsch euch trotzdem gute Unterhaltung !

Dann dürfte es Bands wie Uriah Heep, Sweet, Foreigner, Jethro Tull usw auch nicht geben. Schau Dir mal deren aktuelle Besetzung Liste an im Vergleich zu SQ. Aber bei denen gibt es wohl auch nicht diesen Personenkult. Ist es Rossi Schuld, daß Rick so uneinsichtig war, nach mehreren Herzattacken und seinen Kehlkopfproblem und seinen seinen Lebensstil mit wenigen Einschränkungen fortgesetzt hat. Warnungen seitens der Band dürfte er genug erhalten haben. Vielleicht hätten ihm seine 2 älteren Söhne mall die Pistole auf die Brust setzen sollen, anstatt Rossi Vorwürfe zu machen. Fall es einige noch nicht wissen sollten. Francis war Mitbegründer der Band. Rick kam 1967 dazu. Es ist Rossi Sache, die Band aufzulösen. Solange er, Andy - seit 1976 mit auf der Bühne, man höre und staune und seit 1986 Rhino noch Bock darauf haben. In 10 Jahren wird es all die alten Bands eh nicht mehr geben. Bis dahin, lasst ihnen den Spaß. Die restlichen Jahre sind die Zinsen des Erfolges.

History stops for nobody. Some people still say the Beatles were the best with Pete Best on drums. No one person makes a band. Everyone is replaceable at some point or another...and when that time comes, then it's time to stick with them, or abandon them like the cheesy flavor of the week. Which are you is up to you?

@paul james I saw SQ last year in Germany in Lingen with 3000 people. Nobody left the hall when Francis was playing solos. A lot of stupid comments since Rick's death.

yep, incredible! i was conceived and born with their music! back there in 1968 my Father used to listen BBS of london and Shortwave radio, and i was born the same day Pictures of Matschstick men premiered in Mexico..... is a pleasure to know they still rock!

My first intro to SQ was Pictures Of Matchstick Men. Been a solid fan since then. I love all SQ incarnations equally, because history doesn't often repeat itself. As long as Francis is leading the band...they can't lose. Move over Mick Jagger, Francis has taken the stage! Lookin better too I might add. Time has been good to ya. Keep on rockin' Mr Rossi, cuz you're lookin' so damn good. :)

This is one of the best quo-tributes band ive heard...
If Rossi wants to continue then stop critassing a rock legend. Good on yet keeping rock n roll alive. All the best of British are passing away. All this country can produce are talentless. They couldn't match the true icons. It's sad but time marches on. Come on England where are you talented lads & lasses out in rock & roll land.
Hello ! J'ai 61 balais et je suis un fan de SQ depuis "dog of two heads". J'ai tous leurs albums (même le tout dernier) ... mais bon, l'humilité aurait voulu qu'après le décès de Rick Parfitt le groupe s’arrête par respect. C'est un peu comme si Mikkey Dee avait prolongé Motorhead après le décès de Lemmy pfff ! Alan Lancaster doit se ronger les ongles dans sa tombe. Francis Rossi, pour qui j'ai beaucoup de respect, aurait du sortir un album solo de country rock, je sais qu'il aime ça, mais peut être que le label "SQ" rapporte encore trop de sous, ... navrant :o)

@@chrisderen4231 Bonjour. D'après ce que je sais, Parfitt est décédé d'une septicémie durant des vacances en Espagne en 2016 (déjà) et vraiment personne ne s'attendait à cela. Je suis un fan invétéré du Quo et je les suis depuis leurs débuts ou presque. J'ai même acheté leur dernier album "Backbone" et je trouve que Parfitt y manque beaucoup. Je ne parle même pas de sa rythmique, mais de sa voix. Le Quo a vendu autant, voire plus de disques que les Stones depuis les années 70 et ce qui me dérange profondément, c'est le mal qu'ont ces grosses machines commerciales à baisser le rideau à cause très certainement de leur maison de disque. SQ c'est génial, mais on ne va pas se mentir, sorti de "Piledriver", "Quo", "Hello", "On the leve" et "Blue for you", l'on est entré dans une certaine forme juteuse du folklore du breat rock depuis déjà "In the army now", ... non ?

Il n'y a pas que Status Quo. AC/DC a continué après la mort de Malcolm qui était guitariste rythmique comme RIck.

Tous les fans savent que Malcolm était un peu l’âme du groupe et en ce qui me concerne, le malaise avait déjà commencé à la mort de Bon Scott, mais bon. Je suis très nostalgique de tous ces groupes qui ont accompagnés mon adolescence et une partie de ma vie, mais j'ai du mal à accepter qu'ils soient devenus des "marques commerciales" qu'il faut garder en vie pour faire de l'argent. D'ailleurs si l'on écoute bien l'avant et l'après des changements, l'on se rend bien compte que l'alchimie disparait bien souvent après !

I've seem the Francis Rossi Band. They did a tour in 2019 in support of Francis Rossi's solo slbum. This band isn't the same one, although Leon did play in the Francis Rossi Band.

Einer der Gründer von Quo ist tot, der Schlagzeuger der Stones, Karat und der Puhdys sind tot, Sänger von Queen und viele andere. Irgendwie kastriert es die Bands und sie sind nicht mehr das, was sie waren. es macht keinen Spass, wenn sie wie Firmen mit neuen Mitarbeitern weiter machen. Ich wünsch euch trotzdem gute Unterhaltung !

Dann dürfte es Bands wie Uriah Heep, Sweet, Foreigner, Jethro Tull usw auch nicht geben. Schau Dir mal deren aktuelle Besetzung Liste an im Vergleich zu SQ. Aber bei denen gibt es wohl auch nicht diesen Personenkult. Ist es Rossi Schuld, daß Rick so uneinsichtig war, nach mehreren Herzattacken und seinen Kehlkopfproblem und seinen seinen Lebensstil mit wenigen Einschränkungen fortgesetzt hat. Warnungen seitens der Band dürfte er genug erhalten haben. Vielleicht hätten ihm seine 2 älteren Söhne mall die Pistole auf die Brust setzen sollen, anstatt Rossi Vorwürfe zu machen. Fall es einige noch nicht wissen sollten. Francis war Mitbegründer der Band. Rick kam 1967 dazu. Es ist Rossi Sache, die Band aufzulösen. Solange er, Andy - seit 1976 mit auf der Bühne, man höre und staune und seit 1986 Rhino noch Bock darauf haben. In 10 Jahren wird es all die alten Bands eh nicht mehr geben. Bis dahin, lasst ihnen den Spaß. Die restlichen Jahre sind die Zinsen des Erfolges.

History stops for nobody. Some people still say the Beatles were the best with Pete Best on drums. No one person makes a band. Everyone is replaceable at some point or another...and when that time comes, then it's time to stick with them, or abandon them like the cheesy flavor of the week. Which are you is up to you?

How about No Roy Lynes. No Status Quo? 🤣 His organ work on Gitta Go Home was fantastic. I do like the extended live versions of it but they would be even better with his organ work.

@@AndyMartin401 he was in the band though and I like some of the stiff he di he co-wrote Unleotung too. I imagine there will be people who the 60s who liked Wio's music then but heavy rock wasn't their thing and didn't listen to them any more.

@@mariabichler2670 War auch nur ein Vergleich. 70% der Zuschauer sind eh nur an der Musik interessiert. Einige Leute hier sollten 6 Jahre nach Rick's Tod mal aufhören mit Namen wie die Tribute Band, Rossi Band. usw. Mit der Zeit langweilig

@paul james I saw SQ last year in Germany in Lingen with 3000 people. Nobody left the hall when Francis was playing solos. A lot of stupid comments since Rick's death.

@paul james But it works, look at U. Heep, R. Tattoo, Foreigner and more bands with only one founder member, or L. Skynyrd. Are they playing in clubs for 300 people? Let them play, it's finish in 10 years.
