The real deal not Panto Quo.

I can't get enough of that sweet spot at 2:23 when the band explodes from the song structure into the solo and you can hear them all going hell for leather. The mighty Quo at their most breathtaking. This guitar solo alone puts Rossi up there with the greatest. Sublime!

The government should pass a law saying rock stars of this calibre are forbidden to get old.

I was lucky enough to see them in the late 70's and they were phenomenal live. Totally kicking asses here also. RIP Alan and Rick. In their prime they were peerless.

It doesn’t get better than that. Quo, the proper Quo, clicked spectacularly in that performance, producing the most splendid sound that modern Quo cannot come close to. Music is about soul, feeling. This is demonstrated quite clearly here. This is the Status Quo that are nigh on untouchable when live.

FFS Quo killing it like the old days. How anyone can say the post 1980 stuff is better is beyond me. No one could live with the Frantic Four from 1970 to 78. So glad they saw sense and did the reunion tours - got to take my boy to see the best live band that ever took to a stage.

Look at Rick go !!!!!!! hes a machine!!

RIP Alan and Rick will never be forgotten the real quo.

Between 1970- 1976, whilst all the prog rock musos were looking down their noses, the Quo were just ripping it up and us proles loved it.

Brilliant. Priceless. I'd never seen them perform this song live before. Absolute Rock n Roll magic forever digitally preserved.

I was at one of the reunion concerts in 2013 in Manchester and again the following year and also the final one in Dublin in 2014. They were ferocious - and fantastic. By far their best line up and one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.

I must say, they do tighten up as they go. Great performance. My fave part is where Alan is watching Francis playing his Lead part. Awesome. Fave member has always been NUFF, do I need to explain why? I think it is obvious to a blind Bat. RIP Alan you were the Backbone of the Band.

A total masterclass in tight boogie rhythm , suppose they all knew it was their last go at it together and they gave it some hammer,,,,,

I really recommend to listen again to the Studio Version in Hello. These Songs are so beautifully performed and arranged, it will bring you to tears, considering what happened to this great band! How I would like to hear Rick and Alan with their superband in heaven!!🙏

Not many bands could do this type of rock n roll ...they are a well oiled machine who never never fail to impress me they gave been in my blood since 1974

Absobloodylutely right. The best, tightest boogie woogie rock outfit there's ever been and the best line up too, Quo as they should be. Mr Rossi has his faults and internal feuds and politics fucked up a fantastic band which has never been surpassed but.....he is one hell of a guitar player!

NOW THATS ROCK!!!! Wow what an electric performance the energy the drive got my heart pumping and turned it up to max inctedible!!!!!!! Quo are the rock grandfathers !!!!!

Over 50 years ago this group had me. Hook line and sinker. And to think 50 years later they still had it. Here’s a thought. 50 years is half a century

Ricky J .P. belated deepest sympathy on the loss of pa pa Ricky, I hope the twins are are coping ok as they are growing up. I was 11 years old in 1968 when I followed the quo and no other band interested me at all, I think it was ricky's shear drive and determination coming through his playing that encapsulated the sound thrown forward by quo. I was very fortunate I was a DJ in the late seventies I had a promo copy three weeks before release of what ever you want and when I played it for the first time and heard Ricky's intro I was blown away and to this day that intro always brings tears to my eyes when I ever hear it. It's just ageless, I am so so thankful I have years of happy memories of Ricky and honoured to have been able to promote qou's singles and albums up to 1980. I go to see John couglan's quo when ever I can when they are up in North Wales. Best wishes to you and the family J. P. Thoughts with you all at Christmas. Mike xx
