Honestly, I admire Angami women. Many a time i have come across women who does most of man's job, which i think is impossible for women like cutting of firewood, Spading in the terrace fields, and many more. They have a big heart. Accidental if i get one ,Lucky me. hehe.

Discrimination might be from the miyas. Iam sure your parents didnt stop you from achiving your dreams and why cry discrimination. If one of the safest place for women is given the discrimination tag wth. I hear heights of feminism, when have naga men stopped any women from contesting Nagas girls are shining dont alwys play the victimized feminazi card. I find your opinion very narrow minded.

I BELIEVE the women are the best thinkers. WE are perceived to be weak but ABSOLUTELY not! LADIES UR NEWS IS NOT NEW. IT'S IN EVERY CULTURES. KEEP STRIVING TO PERFECTED IT. YOU ALL HAVE THE FREEDOM. GETTING EDUCATED IS ONE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. I WOULD SUGGEST FOR EACH OF YOU TO BLEND. LIKE COOKING FOOD OR MEALS. EACH OF YOU HAVE DIFFERENT TALENT OR STRENGHT. THEN, SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND LIFT OR PRAISE ONE ANOTHER. STICK TOGETHER. PRAY TOGETHER AND SOAR! GOOD LUCK LADIES. IT WILL HAPPEN!

You yourself say that women are happy to accept their roles in the society... then why spoil it in the name of modern, western education and style of living?? Just look at the very western cultures where women's equality is followed; their families are breaking up faster and faster, children abuse their parents, etc, etc. Why you want that to happen in a society where for thousands and thousands of years families are living in harmony, there is respect. Yes there are some families where the man abuses his wife or kids, but why should the whole societal system be broken because of few bad apples? You want freedom, take freedom. You want education, take education. You dont want to do household chores, dont marry (or marry someone who is ok with it). Why make it seem like what you want is right for everyone else and those women who are happyily taking care of their families are wrong????? This is #fakefeminism.

Naga women should be encouraged to join politics both locally and state level. But if they don't join don't blame the men for so called "male patriarchy". Let us remember that men and women differ in the way we think and act. Women are doing great in education. They do well in hospitality, nursing and medical sector. Men usually do well in sports, STEM education and work involving physical activity. Both gender have strengths and weaknesses which are results of basic biological differences physically and mentally. Women have to understand that and stop trying to prove that women can do whatever men can do. It is not healthy. You can do whatever you want but don't think others should do the same. And if they don't, don't assume they are victim of male patriarchy. We are different. Its biology not discrimination. FYI I don't condone any kind of discrimination against women. Peace out✌️

Christianity is not modern, how many women are priests in church (=zero) . Just saying. Atheism and rationalism are modern. But they were also part of astik hindu philosophies, but most hindu today are nastik, doing rituals mindlessly, cut off from their past. Also these problems are not specific to one tribe of Nagas, it is the same more or less all over the world currently. We all have to change. And change will come when women change themselves. As you said, other women do not support woman's rights and they support the patriarchal cultures and laws conventions.

azzo solo This is exacltly what feminism looks like "YOU". You people cannot take criticisms you people cannot have healthy debate and will start cursing and shouting. If there is any place in India where women are treated equal its Nagaland and NE india. Change your mindset, work hard to be at same level with men and dont always play the feminazi card. All i can see is women advancing in all fields way better than men, go do your 1+1 before criticizing and calling names to others. Your are the real primitive uncultured egoistic people. Your group of people will demand equality but cannot even take an ounce of criticisms grow up girl you and your foul mouth go brush your teeth.

Ok! Maybe.. Somewhere... Someone had came across a lines who have been told to "forget the question if you don't know the answer" so leap it with em.. #BUT.... Atlest Today maybe the right minute of the 33%, bcz they feel that without this odd% they are never promised of Equality although odd does speak difference. (*To only Genuine Nagas fans, others may be avoided for security reasons) lol 😂😂

And one thing in your topic (cooking ) that is a big raspack and love to a man.
