A beast with underpowered engines and crappy airframe.

Given the limited funds Russia has it is very commendable what they have achieved. Several countries have a lot more funds than Russia and are still dependent on imports and can't make their own weapons.

There are many reasons for the white elephant called Su57 but its a Russian project and Russian headache - they have all the money and time in the world but are somewhat ill motivated. I am more interested to know about the Su75 , their commercial venture regarding a stealth fighter , where are they regarding it , will they outsource the entire project to India for export purposes like the Ak203 rifle ? given the status of Russia being under sanctions from major economic blocs ?

and we are happy with GE F414 for our so called 5.5 gen AMCA. why can't they have atleast the EPE variant

Only it's front part is truly stealthy. It's engine isn't covered within airframe. RCS is really bad.

@@somnathroy6251 nope friend, al-41 is an improvement version of al-31f both al-31 and al-41 are of similar dimensions being used in su-27, su-30, su-35 and the same slightly modified al-41 engines are being used in su-57 presently, if idzeliya-30 is able to fit in su-57, as al-41 by same logic idzeliya -30 should be able to fit into su-27, su-30, su-35.

I think it is more NO2. This might be due to incomplete combustion in the jet engine. As the SU57 is currently working on some other engine and it's engine is not ready the engineers must have done some tweaking with the engine to make those flashy moves possible or something.
