Stationärmotoren-Treffen Hundeluft 2013 1/2 Stationary Engine Rally

Bei der traditionsreichen Veranstaltung in der Burg Hundeluft waren auch im Jahre 2013 wieder schöne Motoren zu sehen und man konnte sich in eine längst vergangene Zeit zurück versetzen.
Natürlich war ich mit der Kamera dabei und habe einen mir eine DVD erstellt.
Für KZread gibt es diesen Film als Zweiteiler.
Dabei sind dieses Mal natürlich einige Deutz-Motoren, Highlights waren ein schöner großer Glühkopfmotor-Motor, ein Moritz Hille Gasmotor Baujahr 1888 und ein kleiner luftgekühlter hit and miss Motor, den ich vielleicht etwas zu ausgibig gefilmt habe um die Details zu zeigen.
Viel Spaß beim anschauen.

The Highlights 2013 are a big hot bulb engine, a 1888 Moritz Hille engine and a air cooled hit and miss engine.

That little engine from Chicago would go in my bedroom and I run it every night as a "Lullaby motor". The sound is so soothing .

It is not designed to fire every 8 strokes. It is a hit and miss motor which means that it will only fire when the engine slows down enough. If you put it under load it will fire a lot more often.
So reminiscent of the tractor shows in Brookings, Oregon and Lynden, WA. Notice the black magic with the spark plug. :)

It's because of the way the camshaft is geared. It's designed to fire every 8 strokes as opposed to four, probably to allow it to stay within operational temperatures with no airflow, and also to use less fuel.

5:41 is like schranz ;D 9:58 is briliant! Engine adds fuel itself when RPM (power) is too low.

Exzellent video, the engine, made in Chicago, Illinois in the early 1900's at 8:00 was advertised as a genuine 8 cycle by the Aermotor Windmill Co. to be used when the wind was not there for pumping water, fanning mills on farms etc. and they are quite common at antique engine tractor shows today in the USA

Some rare sights there..!! What brand motorcycle is that at 13:47, similar to a BMW 250cc, could it be a Simpson? Some were imported to the U.S. but not many sold - I think they were from East Germany during the cold war days.

Thiose old engines are fascinating to watch. Very much like a steam engine, the way you can see everything going round. That little engine from 8:00 seems to fire once about every 20 revolutions.

Schwierig. Ist leider zu weit weg. Aber vielleicht kommst du mal zu Bulldog Dampf und Diesel. Das geht über 2 Tage!
