It’s July 2024, I am 34 & I’m still here listening! First time I recall hearing Static X was their song “Cold” that was apart of the Queen of the Damned sound track. Thought it had a great sound, cool music video, & Wayne’s look at the time was just so out there you couldn’t forget him. Vividly remember being in 7th grade computer class sneaking & using Windows Media Player to listen to that song. I would run my ear buds through my left hoodie sleeve to avoid getting caught 😂

Shadow Zone has always been my goto album in sad moments, ever since it came out. Now that Wayne is gone, this album has played many times on repeat..

RIP Wayne Static - Many of my best memories and moments in life involved Static-X being blared in the background. You will be missed but never forgotten. The afterlife just got way more badass.

Fucked up my steering alignment to this song. Was worth it.

I loved their first 4 albums. Cannibal was good but I wasn't listening to them as much. I remember when cult of static came out I just didnt like it and to this day dont feel it was remotely as good. When Wayne died it didnt hit me right away. In my lifetime out of any musician his has hurt the most. While Chester's was painful for some reason this one has truly stuck with me.. static x was on my playlist alot in my early high school years..

So glad I got to see Static X live they blew my fucking mind.

Saying to someone, "you don't get it," doesn't imply that it's not possible for them get it; it's still possible that if they spend a little more thought on it, they could eventually get it. This, however, is entirely different from saying, "you can't get it" because you are implying that they CAN NOT get it! It is impossible for them to get it. So don't belittle them by saying they "just" don't get it; they don't get it because they can't get it!
