State of multi-million rand farms in Eastern Cape a concern
Emerging farmers in the Eastern Cape are concerned about the state of multi-million rand farms, owned by the OR Tambo district municipality.
In 2008 the municipality bought seven farms for R26m.
With farm assets, the price went up to R59m. The plan was to develop black emerging farmers, but it's alleged that no one has benefited from the 2600 hectares of land.

Its not that the farmers are incapable. The government is just standing in their way.

You must know what you doing to run a farm !!!!
Lol ANC is deluded, look at the pictures and what ANC members are saying. I give up
What a joke, is this for real? Taxpayers money abused yet again? Love to know who benefits?

🤔🤔🤔 The former owner of the farm didn't get funding from goverment and yet was successful.. And now the new owner is struggling and not getting funding from the state owned enterprise.. thought this redistribution without compensation would really have made the land prosper and so productive and easy to run with all the knowledge that is preached by goverment with instant skills and knowledge of knowing how to farm... With magical tree seeds that grow McDonald's burgers and KFC chickens and prepacked foods and tins for spar and the other shops from the trees. Plus the very intelligent member of the goverment just quoted a section out of the ledger book from 1992 agenda 21... Bravo 👏👏👏👏
