Eva LaRue is such a sweet open person. I was so sad to hear how John Callahan was struggling. I always liked him and thought he was such a good actor. And Eva was so open talking about her health issues. I wish her a complete recovery with all she is going through. Im sorry you have been having a hard time with your anxiety Maurice. I had a crush on Edmund and I laughed so hard when he and Maria jumped on a bed and he obviously was excited to be there with her. It wasn’t always easy to watch her characters, but watching this, she’s really a nice person! Yay!

You are not alone in the struggles. I have had two meltdowns in the last two weeks as well. The tougher our battles the better the rewards. I heard a pastor say once that sometimes God puts His children to bed in the dark, once the test is over you will be better than before. You are an inspiration when I go through it. Thank you for explaining Blaze's mother, Ms. Larue. I grew up the youngest son of a lay preacher in Texas, but I'm old enough, and with the kind of life, that coming out wasn't an option before my parents died over the last 2 decades. I feel like my own mother would have been like your character, but worse. My heart breaks as a middle-aged man that some young adults still have to endure this when they can't yet tolerate the consequences of having it out once and for all with parents.

I just came out of a 6 month battle with anxiety and OCD so incredibly painful. Love and blessings to you. May the love of Christ bring peace to your mind. ❤

Eva, I commented before you talked about your health issues of late. I wish you well. Anyone losing so many loved ones, it just has to have an affect on you. So sorry for your pain. You never let this conversation lapse for even a minute. You are the best conversationalist Maurice has had.

Great interview with Eva! Grief can destroy you for sure, without you even realizing it. In 2015 lost 4 people close to me, which was traumatic enough; but I have since lost both of my parents in the last 4 years, and sometimes the grief is overwhelming. I've been medicated for Generalized Anxiety Disorder for 13 years. Getting my diagnosis was a blessing. Validation and medication saved my life. Maurice, thank you for fighting through to keep these interviews coming every Sunday. It's clear you are battling hard. As your Paula says, "Every time you fight, you win." Support is everything. Hello Maurice, Thank you for the interview with Eva LaRue. It was such an interesting interview. Maurice I hope that you feel better. My father suffered from mental illness. He was an alcoholic, and a heavy smoker (Philip Morris cigarettes), he died in his sleep on Father’s Day in 1984; he was 57 years old. Take care Maurice. My prayers are with you.

Maurice, You are so not alone in this. I've had severe depression and anxiety for over 25 years and now I'm on some good meds. I think that we need more awareness towards depression,anxiety and panic disorder. It can be a living hell but we're all in this together.💯❤
