The word on the bin "organize". LOL Oh it makes me chuckle so! I started a week ago by buying a tub at walmart. Thinking I really don't have that much yarn. Oh buddy, was I ever wrong. I filled it with just the wool I had sticking in different areas of the house. I didn't even touch the cotton or mixed yarns. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great project for all the leftover yarn!

It came that way, isn't it weird?? I figured when it finds a permanent home I will put a new label on it, but so far it just keeps moving around my house 😂

In the middle of dyeing and carding up batts, now I want to drop it all and start warping the loom to make cowls...THANKS TRISH! 😂

That is such a cool technique. Maybe one day…. That black and white leftover pile also was interesting…. I also have one of those not-a-real-project projects. A granny stripe afghan made with leftovers. It’s a palate cleanser, not a WIP.

This looks amazing. I think you just have tons of magic, i think any fiber you touch turns out amazing

What a great weave, I was like What? when you put it sideways to finish the weave, but how cute it turned out.

It looks great with the beautiful stripes, but you’re right the green suits you much better. Still, a great way to work through those little odds and ends.

I need to make myself another one of these. I have introduced my knitting group friends to weaving and labeled myself as an enabler. One of those friends has already made two of these thanks to your videos. ❤️

So thankful you weren’t murdered! I always love your little snippets at the beginning. And I love the scarf, what a great idea to use leftover yarn.

Going to request a warping bar for Mother’s Day. Otherwise if I want it as a gift I will need to wait for Christmas. Don’t think that’s going to happen. Lol. The Fiber Addiction must be satiated! Great video. Want to try a hero cowl!

You can totally do it. My suggestion is just to do one step at a time. Each step isn't intimidating, but all of them together could be!

I am 5'10" but they are normal length for my height 😂😂

I love these cowls and have been trying to think of a project for the loom. Granted, I don't knit anymore (hand problems) so there is no sock leftovers. Although, I do have a heap of undyed, sock weight, bamboo that weaves up into a cloth with gorgeous drape. Thanks for the inspo Trish.

Always comforting to know I am not the only one with multiple projects in progress :). Such a beautiful warp and finished scarf - that material would make a gorgeous jacket ....-- I love how Luther sits in your lap as you weave ... Great project!!

Looks awesome! I like the way you cut the fringe! I like the fringe a bit shorter than i see most leave it. I really like that you can wrap it twice!

That Dunes was pretty too that was on the Hero pattern website. I have a bunch of the lanterns done up but haven't started to crochet mine together at all yet. I'm not even sure how many rows I would get. Loving the look of the colors without even starting to weave yet :) I KNEW that was gonna be pretty!!! Yay...a technical term I'm familiar with...CHUNK LOL. Gotta love how it doesn't even look scrappy and random.

Thanks! Honestly even when I try to do random, my brain won't really let me. I have to fight off the urge to organize absolutely everything.

Beautiful! I'm weaving what's supposed to be a striped table runner but it may get borrowed to be used as a scarf now and again!

So in love with the hero cowl. It is going to be my next project on my RH. Of course, bigger project on my floor loom, and knitting an Aran sweater are my active projects right now.
