It bothers me when docs assign motives to animals where it's impossible to know why or as if they are human and know science. We don't know why lions leave their prides for a fact. We can make an educated guess that it's probably so dad doesn't have competition but we know for sure it's not because of inbreeding. If that were somehow a factor then daughters wouldn't stay with their fathers in pride.
