I find it ironic how these reports always have to say before you try this it's always good to ask your doctor first. Unfortunately, alot of times doctors are either skeptical or condescending about any treatment that doesn't end in prescribing medication or the expense of proceedures or surgeries.

Praise God!!! I can’t believe how many women, including myself, got an encouragement to stop their kids heartbeat during pregnancy, I truly believe God must have an extra special purpose for these children that the devil is so adamant to have medical professionals say we shouldn’t let them live. My child is fully healthy as are other kids to the doctors convinced the moms would have disabilities, they didn’t, and even if they had come up the parents were willing to love and care for them just the same.

Medical professionals (western AND eastern) have been telling people to tend to their diet for decades. But nowadays people get offended the moment you mention their weight or diet and find someone who won't judge them for their voracious high fructose syrup consumption. I guess it takes getting cancer to be a wake-up call.

It will definitely help. There’s no question of that. It’s just a matter of how much it helps. The more dedicated you are the greater your results. I’d say it’s much more difficult to get it to begin with if you are already doing some type of fast. But you can always ramp it up more if you feel unwell. I’d also focus a lot on what you’re eating & not just what you’re not eating if you are trying to fight a particular disease. As of now, I eat one meal per day & do a 3-5 day fast every 6 months so I can enjoy more unhealthy foods. If I was trying to fight a disease or get ultra healthy I would continue my 1 meal but eat healthier items like fish eggs avocados (healthy fats) & stop drinking Dr Pepper & eating bread/pasta.

Fasting is a little bit more then just skipping a meal my friend! You make cancer sound like a yard with a little bit of weeds on it and all you really need is just a little bit of water to make that yard full of lush green grass? The point is cancer is very specific and personal to each person but it did not have to be this way if man did not commercialize it with treatments fancy drug commercials Because in the end it's all about money not health or life expectancy you do know this right??????

No one understood their claim, admittedly... fasting isn't a absolutely harmless procedure, and every single person has a different health situation, I'm sure you can understand that. What if a anorexic girl watches this, should she hear that fasting is cool and inoffensive ? It's not good for her. Should a pregnant women start fasting ? Of course not. What if those two are stupid as hell and see your comment, and tell themselves "Oh well, I don't need no doctor, they don't know anything about nutrition anyway !" ? People have been fasting for all the time humanity has been around, of course the average person can go through it. But it's not something inherently harmless, and everybody has to realize it, through the simple claim that a doctor might be required.

Le Passant you are what my mother would call a “worry wart”. So if this helps...I dedicate to you...everyone out there that’s anorexic needs to go get help from a doctor who specializes in that. If your pregnant...and somehow perceive fasting is good for your baby please get help from a doctor...if you’re a child, talk with your parents , doctor or a sane adult you trust (and do not fast)...if you are ...well, that should cover it. There. Thank you for thinking of the entire world who might read this post and die - you may have saved lives❤️ I certainly wish everyone would police with such love for all mankind. Hug.

Yeah, that's what I thought too!🤨 I heard about this YEARS ago. While I've never actually PRESCRIBED fasting to my patients, I have shown them how markedly decreasing their caloric intake can reverse many of the illnesses from which they were suffering. As a Muslim clinician, I've practiced "intermittent fasting" for decades (esp. during Ramadan). There are many articles in peer-reviewed journals, written by Muslim researcher highlighting it's benefits.

Years ago I read about an old farmer who got sick with pneumonia. As he recovered he was losing weight due to the illness. His doctor's thought he was on the way to recovery when he suddenly died. They were puzzled. After an autopsy they found that his years of being exposed to pesticides had caused his fatty tissue to store the chemicals. When he started losing weight it released years of those pesticides into his bloodstream. And so he died.

I've used fasting most of my adult life for many different uses. Mostly fasting demonstrated decipline to the Most High that as a follower we can deny ourselves in obedience to HIS WORD, laws and spiritual direction. Weightloss and improved health have ALWAYS been as the world would say, possitive side effects. All praises to our King. The world is a bit slow when it oomes to Biblical truths. I would try experimenting with one quality meal and using healthy (protein worked for me)snacks to slowly ween yourself down to that one meal. With time find out your own body's wants verses needs. Summary: growth factor is reduced during fasting and that would logically also affect cancer growth. Blood sugar is lower during fasting and giving less energy to cancer (and everything else in the body) might slow down cancer growth. I have to say, it doesn't get any more simplistic.

But it also depends on what his diet was when he wasn't fasting. A diet with more and more animal products raises your IGF1 as well. If he was a vegetarian or vegan before his IGF1 levels may not have been as high as even after this fast. Looking at the way he is built, and basing that on population wide observations - his diet likely wasn't all that healthy to start. As far as cancers and fasting - depends on the type of cancer and one shouldn't just blindly fast for all cancers. Some get great responses from various compounds in foods, herbs, and spices. For those fasting probably not a great idea. Things like all the compounds in turmeric (not just isolated curcumin) or the sulforaphane from raw cruciferous veggies, etc.

Fast: You do not need a doctors permission to fast. I started 18:6 IF this year and I have had remarkable changes in my life. Weight loss is probably why most do it. And I have lost about 25 lbs (haven’t really changed my diet). The main reason for me was inflammation in my joints. I had very little range of motion in my right shoulder, and can now dead hang on my pull up bar for over a minute. (When I began I was barely able to hit 10 seconds). Plus my energy levels boosted through the roof.

Your gut is of because of your diet. Fasting is a temp. fix. Read The Plant Paradox. He also has a Dr. Gundry YES NO (food) List free online. Best to keep fasts 18, 24 hours- maybe 36 max IMHO. If you eat whole foods and do not need to lose weight, they are mostly unnecessary. Some simple 18 hours fasts might still be fine. Fasting is an excellent move to improve your health, whether you have Cancer or not. My mother had Cancer, Stage 4, for over 10 years, and beat it into Remission three times, because she was the most powerful force in The Universe. She eventually lost the battle in 2019, and what I learned from being by her side is she ALWAYS craved sugar! She didn't want the sugar. It was her cancer.☠ Getting sugar, or simple carbs, out of the diet, and fasting, plus eating things like broccoli sprouts and garlic daily, all help you fight cancer. Maybe you won't beat it, but these will give you a fighting chance.

Interesting idea that your mother, herself, wasn't craving the sugar, but it was the cancer cells themselves needing it. Makes perfect sense given that cancer cells have a "strong survival agenda," just like typical living organisms, and when their survival resources are taken away, they're going to "cry for them."

You're preaching to a believer because I've learned through habit (at first it was more like an inverted routine:eat at night, fast in the day then I've learned how to do it properly... I always have like 5-6 kilos to lose (sometimes more, sometimes less) and during the last fasting periods, I managed to lose weight (like 3-4 kilos) while maintaining almost the same habits. Now, most people aren't used to fast and even those who are (Muslims and others) can show some serious bigotry and do it regardless of the red flags. Last year one of my brother's coworkers had a KIDNEY Failure because it wasn't done properly (they were working in the desert so he wasn't even supposed to fast because if he survives the day, on the evening he will shock his body with sudden intake of water and food). So that's why I never encourage people to do long-time fasting, they can start with IF and if it's OK, they can try other stuff and if they have Muslim friends, they can even fast with them during that time (Ramadan) so they won't feel alone (like a motivation to fast) BUT they must be careful with their food intake, most people break their fast badly and eat too much to compensate, which makes the fast useless.

So good for this man, he’s not feeding the cancer, instead, he’s starving the cancer. Awesome!👍☺️So my Mother started focusing on “ALKALINE” foods & helping her body become more ALKALINE👍 & not acidic. I have seen what this can do firsthand.👍🙏♥️I think this fasting thing is an incredible idea and I am definitely going to try it and possibly just live by it, perhaps routine “intermittent fasting”…and then when I do eat I’ll focus on alkaline foods only & not acidic foods. By doing so, perhaps this could possibly be done as a preventative.🤔Praise Jesus!🙏👍♥️☺️

There is nothing you can do to change the PH of your body.. it has a very narrow window of what is optimal for you. The only time it changes is just before you die.. so.. dont try to push it? Your body has so many methods of keeping a syable PH for a reason.

Your body automatically balances your ph level. The food and drink you take in has nothing to do with your overall ph.

Years ago I read an old article called The Fasting Cure by Sinclair (I think). Within, he notes patient experiences with many afflictions, including cancer. The vast majority saw at least a huge improvement in their health if not a mid term cure.

My A1C went from the high 7s to the low 5s from intermittent fasting. My doctor praised me for cutting out all the unhealthy foods from my diet, but I actually still ate like a complete slob, I just ate it all during a 4-8 hour window each day.

It is an illusion mostly. You cut carbs so you tested low- that's it. If you eat them again, it may be high again. Hopefully not but don't assume you reversed Type II- if you had it. You might be on the right path though...but not eating like a slob. Cut your window down to 5-6 hours max. My boat has a hole in it but when I take it out of the water, and test the leak- it passes. No leak at all but is it really fixed? NO. Got it? Curious- what do you typically eat and drink?

@@UTAH100 But I didn't cut out carbs. I may not have worded it clearly, but I continued to eat like a slob. At the time, I was eating a lot of fast food, beer and junk. I've since gotten motivated to eat better, and I quit drinking. Now I eat lots of vegetables and whole grains, relatively small portions of fatty meat (mostly chicken thighs), and probably more sugar than I should. And no, I don't assume the diabetes is gone for good. I'm sure it'll come back just as strong if I go back to my old lifestyle.

@@kangarooninja2594 I understood your point.. the 'eating window' is the key there. Thats why fasting works.. it breaks the insulin resistance we build up by 'grazing' throughout the day. Have to limit the insulin spikes that occurs when we eat basically any carbs or sugar. Dr Berg explains it well.

@@PandaMan02 It gets to the point where you don't even want to eat during your fasting time. And if you do, you feel kinda gross. It's been a while since I first wrote the previous comment. I now keep my feeding window typically at 2 hours, and may go as far as 4 hours. I plan to eventually start fasting 2-3 days a week, but my life is so hectic right now that I don't think I can take that big of a move. But, supposedly that's when you start seeing the more dramatic benefits from autophagy.

Don't forget the mycelium powder of some turkey tail and some stamets 7 to the smoothies to give a little pep in every step.

You might be correct in your assessment and it might be more nuanced than it is black and white. If you do something as stringent or more stringent than OMAD (one meal a day) than it is impossible to overeat. With the standard 16-8 routine it is quite possible to overeat within your eating window.
