Just think of the fact that this car was a brand new many years ago. No dirt and rust, perfect condition. Someone purchased it at a dealership and was a happy owner of a brand new E-class. And nowadays this car is still alive, still runs and drives. That's awesome! A legedary E-class W124! So sad to see this legend abandoned...

Greetings from Spain: Once again you demonstrate with the fact of starting a Mercedes after 12 years, that it is made with a magnificent construction quality that allows it to function again despite the inactive time elapsed and having many components affected by inclement weather. The quality of the materials is demonstrated even indoors, it is quite complete or whole, it only presents dirt and moisture accumulation. On the outside, the body is in acceptable condition, with the exception of all the underside of the vehicle, which shows a lot of oxidation, surely due to the fact that it traveled many periods on snowy roads that had been salted to prevent ice. Once again I have spent a pleasant time observing how you manage to start a vehicle after being stopped enduring the inclement weather.

Great to see this car getting back to life. My dad has also a 300D but 5 speed manual from 1986 in the same colour but in pretty prestine condition with only 180k km and complete zender bodykit. Not only the spoiler like this one. I just love to drive it. Thumbs up for this video👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Мой самый любимый кузов. Вот вроде от Мерседеса даже названия уже не осталось. А он удивление всем завелся и ещё и поехал, даже АКПП работает. Умели же раньше Машины делать. А сейчас брось немца на пару лет во дворе,и можно на свалку везти. А магнитолу в тему подобрали под дерево,смотрится классно.

Hallo Andreas, ich besass auch mal einen 124er Tmodell 320, von 1997 bis 2013, bis ich 2013 nach den USA zog. Dann hat den mein Enkel gefahren, bis heute!!!! Das beste Auto dass ich jemals hatte, und das waren einige, bin 83. Good luck for you.....

Love it. I have a w124 300td 4 speed automatic from 1993. Love the sound. In this more and more electric days is always back to the pass 😃when you started. Only runs on the weekend when it’s no raining . 😅 it’s like new !

That car has had a hard life. Allot of miles and very little care. Sad to see a older mercedes in this condition. They built great cars until 1991. I have a 1987 300d turbo diesel with 162k miles. Great body and nice interior. I love my w124

My uncle (RIP) had one. 650 thousand km. Went to the scrap yard because it eventually rusted away. The engine still worked.

Бла-бла-бла. Ошибка выжившего, и никто от заводского брака не застрахован. Некоторые из этих мерсов, я более чем уверен, точно так же висели на подъемниках на своих 54.000км. Просто никто не застал это, а сейчас судят именно по таким вот выжившим. Нормально и новые машины ходят. Может не миллионники, но по 500-600тыс выхаживают. А дальше все-равно машина морально устаревает.

@@justdriving270 при чем тут дизайн? А даже если его брать, лично на мой взгляд он так себе. W116(да, я знаю что это не Е класс) смотрится горааааздо элегантнее. Я про то, что в плане безопасности он никакущий. Что двигатели прожорливы, а динамика оставляет желать лучшего. Что из опций там - электрические фары да магнитола с ужасной акустикой

Now that is a true, German-made Mercedes and it shows the reliability and quality that Mercedes is known for. Nowadays, when you buy an E-class, chances are it's not made in Germany anymore (at least in my area) and you're prone to things like the car not starting because some stupid electronic toy in the starter assembly is malfunctioning after only 5,000 kms.

Que bello... Nobleza absoluta ese aún hoy un hermoso auto. Con líneas modernas y señoriales como nos acostumbró Mercedes Benz. Tengo un SsangYong Korando con motor OM602 y ya cruzó los 330000km sin novedades. No cabe la menor duda de lo que es un motor Daimler. Sin palabras.

@@justdriving270 речь то не о том что трушный али нет... речь о том что он портит брутальный стиль. Это равносильно на W126 багажник на крышу закрепить или зашквар как из Рено кангу сделать мерс ситан 🤦♂️🤷. Хотя в нашем отечестве шедевров дизайна уровня мерса нет совсем.

Just think of the fact that this car was a brand new many years ago. No dirt and rust, perfect condition. Someone purchased it at a dealership and was a happy owner of a brand new E-class. And nowadays this car is still alive, still runs and drives. That's awesome! A legedary E-class W124! So sad to see this legend abandoned...
Greetings from Spain: Once again you demonstrate with the fact of starting a Mercedes after 12 years, that it is made with a magnificent construction quality that allows it to function again despite the inactive time elapsed and having many components affected by inclement weather. The quality of the materials is demonstrated even indoors, it is quite complete or whole, it only presents dirt and moisture accumulation. On the outside, the body is in acceptable condition, with the exception of all the underside of the vehicle, which shows a lot of oxidation, surely due to the fact that it traveled many periods on snowy roads that had been salted to prevent ice. Once again I have spent a pleasant time observing how you manage to start a vehicle after being stopped enduring the inclement weather.

Great to see this car getting back to life. My dad has also a 300D but 5 speed manual from 1986 in the same colour but in pretty prestine condition with only 180k km and complete zender bodykit. Not only the spoiler like this one. I just love to drive it. Thumbs up for this video👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Мой самый любимый кузов. Вот вроде от Мерседеса даже названия уже не осталось. А он удивление всем завелся и ещё и поехал, даже АКПП работает. Умели же раньше Машины делать. А сейчас брось немца на пару лет во дворе,и можно на свалку везти. А магнитолу в тему подобрали под дерево,смотрится классно.

Hallo Andreas, ich besass auch mal einen 124er Tmodell 320, von 1997 bis 2013, bis ich 2013 nach den USA zog. Dann hat den mein Enkel gefahren, bis heute!!!! Das beste Auto dass ich jemals hatte, und das waren einige, bin 83. Good luck for you.....

Always great to see these old rigs come back to life. I used to work with a guy who drove one of these. It was built like a tank. Great video!
W124's never die and are the worlds best and most reliable taxi.
To think that this was once someone's baby, they loved it and took care of it and then when you notice one thing led to the next and its left abandoned, and there lies the beauty of bringing old cars back to life, not just to see if it still runs but to bring back at least some of its history
Love it. I have a w124 300td 4 speed automatic from 1993. Love the sound. In this more and more electric days is always back to the pass 😃when you started. Only runs on the weekend when it’s no raining . 😅 it’s like new !
As a kid I heard the clacking sound of the 300d when my father came home. I miss it !

W124 legend. That one probably is way beyond repair due to corrosion. The main weak point of the w124. I owned 3 of them. Love them. They still are going strong

That car has had a hard life. Allot of miles and very little care. Sad to see a older mercedes in this condition. They built great cars until 1991. I have a 1987 300d turbo diesel with 162k miles. Great body and nice interior. I love my w124

My uncle (RIP) had one. 650 thousand km. Went to the scrap yard because it eventually rusted away. The engine still worked.

548.000 км. А современный Мерс, уже через 54 тысячи км. будет в автосервисе на подьъёмнике висеть, из-за того что перестал запускаться мотор.

Увы но бмв тоже хотя и старые бмв так делали за исключением м51 дизеля и м57 это мега моторы а так бмв всегда этим занималась а мерс только начал

Бла-бла-бла. Ошибка выжившего, и никто от заводского брака не застрахован. Некоторые из этих мерсов, я более чем уверен, точно так же висели на подъемниках на своих 54.000км. Просто никто не застал это, а сейчас судят именно по таким вот выжившим. Нормально и новые машины ходят. Может не миллионники, но по 500-600тыс выхаживают. А дальше все-равно машина морально устаревает.

@@justdriving270 при чем тут дизайн? А даже если его брать, лично на мой взгляд он так себе. W116(да, я знаю что это не Е класс) смотрится горааааздо элегантнее. Я про то, что в плане безопасности он никакущий. Что двигатели прожорливы, а динамика оставляет желать лучшего. Что из опций там - электрические фары да магнитола с ужасной акустикой

Que bello... Nobleza absoluta ese aún hoy un hermoso auto. Con líneas modernas y señoriales como nos acostumbró Mercedes Benz. Tengo un SsangYong Korando con motor OM602 y ya cruzó los 330000km sin novedades. No cabe la menor duda de lo que es un motor Daimler. Sin palabras.

Фаркоп полезен, а спойлер очень даже неплохо выглядит на нем

@@lolga_na_gazu если фаркоп то складной шобб не портить чистоту линий кузова, если спойлер то адаптирующийся под скоростной режим. Этот же полезен как мозг зеленского.

@@justdriving270 речь то не о том что трушный али нет... речь о том что он портит брутальный стиль. Это равносильно на W126 багажник на крышу закрепить или зашквар как из Рено кангу сделать мерс ситан 🤦♂️🤷. Хотя в нашем отечестве шедевров дизайна уровня мерса нет совсем.

This is a beautiful Mercedes. They do not visually age.
so rewarding. i also picked up one of these last fall, $500. dead battery from an estate, waiting on a big battery and will see how she does, havent heard it run yet.
