Hi Arun. If you are really interested in VLSI, I strongly recommend you to change the branch. After a year, you are given an opportunity to change branches, and they consider your request based on all the applications recieved. They give you chance based on higher CGPA i.e. higher CGPA student's request to switch branches is considered. So maintain that, and use the opportunity the university later gives you to switch branch. All the best 👍. Reach out to me anytime for further queries. Do subscribe to my channel to support us 😊!
Hello sir What type of work you are doing in physics design domain?
@VivekGangi
Жыл бұрын
Hey there! It has been a year I'm working here (including training and project time). I can't really reveal the work here, but just like many startups, work is going to be heavy and vast. So compared to generic design engineers in MNCs, we (Startups based on VLSI ) work all from synthesis to route and inbetween stages as well (Floorplanning,etc). Verification and fixing post Route is also expected to be done by us as well. Respective teams will be helping you as well. Hope this general idea helps. All the best 👍. Hi Apoorv. Unfortunately, I do not have the access to those notes. They are kept at my home and currently I'm staying at Banglore for work.
Anna,is Qualcomm or intel comes for placement in vit??
@VivekGangi

Hi there. Yes they do come. Apart from these, other top reputed companies also come for placements. But as the company's reputation is high, with very good packages, they have very stringent selection criteria.

What about admission process in vit.?
@VivekGangi
2 жыл бұрын
Hi there. (For Bachelor's) VIT conducts VITEEE exam every year and this is used for admission into all the VIT campuses. For MTech, there is other exam. If you are from Andhra Pradesh, then you can get into AP campus of VIT with Eamcet as well.
EE DEPARTMENT ALLOW FOR VLSI??
@VivekGangi

Hi there. I don't think so. VLSI comes under ECE field, so students from EEE are not allowed to work or attend placements to VLSI based companies and this is what I have observed even in my placements as well. All the best 👍. Do subscribe to my channel to support us 😊!

Hey there! Yes it's fairly possible but difficult as companies consider students from electronics or electrical background. But if you might be able to present knowledge in that field, it might help. Projects and external training might help here. I'll be trying to make vidoes on there topics in the near future. All the best 👍. Do subscribe to our channel to support us 😁
