1023 form filled out by my wife, who is wicked smart, then filed electronically it can back approved in 5 days, it came back so quickly it caught us somewhat unprepared to begin the fund raising.

@@BossonaBudget I would like to hire you when I am ready I want to use my s corp name and do a 501c3 non for profit business this year but I need a lot of guidance.

I have been given a non profit from a family member, they never did anything with it. They had received 501c3 status in 2017 but since they never did anything (file taxes) they have lost the status in 2020. Should I try to reinstate the 501c3 status because Im not sure how the fees work. Or should I get a new ein and start over basically and apply for the 501c3 again

It might make more sense to start over because it’s likely they didn’t keep up compliance with the state either and there may be other fees with that. Just general advice!

Where are located

I can't make an bank accounts for my non-profit organization because I don't have tax exempt

every bank has different requirements, so I would keep looking
