I've been using KC for several years and am so happy to see your videos on it so that I can learn more of KC's hidden depths. I was excited to see that I could link a video to the pattern and to see that you have a link to android way to do this. Thank you so much for going through this as part of the process of actually knitting a pattern. It's so much more helpful to have complicated things put into perspective. I'm ooking forward to watching more of your KC tutorials.

Omg! I can’t believe you actually said the exact same thing I do. I though it was me being just a little you know odd. Like I love to knit by my yarn stash cabinet so I can knit and look at all my gorgeous yarn and dream about what I will knit next. Yes I did think I was a little odd by doing that. But I know now that a lot of knitters do that too. I call it your true LOVE for knitting. It is my therapy for sure. Thanks so much for making me feel yay I am normal! LOL! 🧶❣️

Great video on knitCompanion. I purchased it once the price went down. I just couldn’t see paying 35.00 (or more) annually. Once I saw that the price went down to being reasonable I jumped on it. It is a wonderful tool. I am still learning. I also like that I can use my phone to get to my projects in progress.

I agree, preparing for a sweater or fitted garment is paramount. Logging measurements, drawing your own schematic, taking into account the ease, and matching gauge as best as possible are some very important things to do before starting.

I know you've touched on this in previous videos but I'd love to see a video on how you set up a timeline to get your sweater projects done by a certain deadline! Gotta say this was an awesome tutorial! I’ve had knit companion for a couple years but not really used it. I ran to get my iPad to start using it on my next project. It would be great if there was also a way after you put in all your info, to calculate yardage based on the yarns yardage so you know exactly how much you need to use or buy. Great tutorial!! And as a math teacher, bravo on using algebra! Should use this in class as an example!

If you keep your stash logged in ravelry you can enter the weight after you use it and it will automatically calculate you leftover yardage based on weight. No math necessary.

I strongly dislike this app and feel like the creators are ripping their customers off. Not only is it clunky and limited, but they require an expensive subscription every year to supposedly improve it, which they really do not. Use notability if you have an iPad. Works 100% better and a one time fee.
