I have officially cranked through all your supercuts (which are how I just found the channel!) bcuz I play them basically the entire time I’m at home lol. I love em and will be watching all future ones you make! Also would love to see more manor lords (or similar games you’d like to try), love your play style 😊

Another game I bought after seeing you playing. Even in its early stages, it’s been SO FUN to play. To anyone else who wants to buy it, here are some recommendations: Currently, I would not play against the AI lord also trying to dominate the lands. I have tried a handful of saves with the settings on the easier side of it with the AI lord and it’s been near impossible after a few in-game years. In one of my saves, the enemy troops were spawning in the middle of my town and despite my attempts to fight back I just couldn’t. Instead, keep the bandit camps and raider spawning on as that seems much better worked out and manageable. Bandits are helpful to building your or your town’s treasury. Unless there was an update last night, which I doubt, I personally could not figure out how to establish more/different taxes beyond the basic level land tax and tithe. Maybe your city needs to be considered a large town level 3 houses? I only just started getting to that point. Point is, don’t count on it. It’s much more worthwhile (obviously) to export goods at the trade center than import them. If you have a territory that has sucky soil, and you’re established enough to have a second area of territory, you can use the pack station to send food to them. I’ve been sheep farming on those territories with bad soil for the wool plus selling excess sheep if not also other trades for their source of income.

Just got into these videos of Manor Lords and new subscriber to Pawsbuild. A 5 hour marathon to watch over the weekend…yes!

I truly hope you continue the series, because It would be so helpful to see how you do a multi-region with economy pack stations. Most of all it is your commentary: your love of the game, your irresistible charm; your love of the animals and inhabitants. It’s really nice actually to rewatch now, it’s fun to reminisce on our humble beginnings 🥰🥰🥰

I find it ironic that the default name for your Lord was Herman in the very beginning, also a couple nitpicks for your next build, you should have more marketplaces even if they're small it helps a ton! And as far as the wood industries you could definitely micromanage them with their work area instead of building more huts randomly spread around! And if you noticed that it took a while for a bunch of upgrades and buildings it's bc early on you got raided for a bunch of your tools and I'm pretty sure you only had 3 sets of tools until the very end :( Loved the build otherwise! Hope to see more!

Where does he get the music from?

The is game is so similar to a game called dawn of man that I loved playing. The economy and mechanics are basically the same. It’s older now and based in the Stone Age. I thought they must have the same developers but parently not.

I dont know why and when i unsubbed you but i actually watched your Planet Zoo videos first when you were 50k or maybe less ? Its good to see you again and i must admit you grow past my expectations mate !

The Spiffing Brit has a video on his channel explaining the concept. It's meant to benefit from KZread's autoplay algorithm. There's a lot of people supposedly who fall asleep to videos and let youtube autoplay throughout the night. These long videos tend to get pushed by the algorithm. When it does, the creator of the video will hold on to a sleeping viewer for a long time, getting quite a bit more ad income than from the shorter videos. Loads of let's play channels are making supercuts like this now, which I think will eventually mean that it'll become less effective. For now I respect the grind, though.I tend to skip these videos myself, and don't autoplay anything. I'm just checking thiis one out because it's Pawsbuild's first time doing this. And some people prefer to have a full series in one video. Not me, but it's nice for them to have the option.

Each Family has 3 people then why do you need 2 families for 2 oxen.

could you maybe do another planet zoo series, but there are ONLY guest-enterable habitats.

That’s not what I said at all - I said there is no need to call them ‘husband’ or ‘wife’ at all as it doesn’t link to any game mechanics. It would be perfectly normal for two men / women to live together in that time period. Lots of other games in this genre that I’ve played have done this, that’s why it stood out to me as different..
