Look, it just has no point. Its not like a cool project car like a bmw e34 or some mercedes from this era that builds up value if in great condition. In this country (estonia, the same where flexiny is from) mint condition lancers are worth like 500-1000 euros. For this price, you might find a road legal car that is ready to drive, has been really well taken care of and maybe even has a previous owner, who is some older guy who hasnt driven it in winter. Besides this, it has been standing still for 12 years (it propably needs new seals, new belts and etc). Its not like you take an engine that has been standing still for 12 years outside, turn the key and go to the MOT, lol. If somebody needs a donor for his Lancer then this should be a decent car for it for like a few hundred euros.

Nice one. I own a Mitsu Colt of that bodystyle, its also a 91 with the 1.5 12 Valve 90HP engine and I love that car. For me, the cars build in the late 80ies and early 90ies are some of the best Mitsubishi ever built. I also own a 1990 Lancer Station Wagen with the bodystyle of the older pre 1988 generation but with the same 1.5 12 Valve MPI engine, a 91 Eclipse and a 97 Space Runner. They are all great cars and are super reliable with regular maintenance, the main thing you have to keep an eye on with these generation is rust. Edit: Changing the Clutch on these is rather easy, because the fivespeed gearbox isn't really all that heavy (it weights around 35 Kg) and is easy to remove, since only one of the four mounts connects to the gearbox and thus has to be removed, the other three are connected to the engine block (unlike newer mitsubishis build after 96 with the swapped engineposition, where three of the four engine mounts are actually connected to the gearbox instead).

It just astonished me that people abandoned cars for some of the silliest reason, such as a clutch. I understand cars don't last forever. However, even new vehicle still requires money to maintain them. I swear some people have way too much money. Reading some of the comments I understand why. "putting in a new clutch means the parts and labor will end up more than the car's worth", it pains my heart to see people being such penny pinchers that they'll have no problem leaving a nice car in which everything works to die just because one of the wear items needs to be replaced.

I own 5 of these, had a GTI but sold it, now I own 2 4WD lancers from 90 :D
Loving this new style of videos!
Cars beatifull..30 years...the best time..90s Y like very match...joseph from paraguay...
I'd love to see more of this car there's a certain charm about it. Cheers!
Mom had a1976 Dodge Colt sedan. Gold with black vinyl top. Ended up being my first car. It was very reliable, dependable. Shape of three Lancer in this video reminds me of the 1991 Isuzu Stylus (US version). I think it was called Gemini or iMark in other markets. I owned one and loved it.
In U.S.A.,Puerto Rico and other cities this car called Mitsubishi mirage.
Saw a red one of these a few days ago, it's like you know what cars to get going ;)

Good cars them Vauxhall’s
En 1991 yo tenia 13 años...hoy amis 44 años me sigue gustando ese Mitsubishi
Nice, same model was my very first car. Bought it for like 100 dollars in 2011. Was very reliable though.
luckily you got this model brother.
12 лет и я чет ни одной дыры нигде не увидел, земля только под капотом, даже фары вроде горят)), очень достойно и сиденья удобными выглядят)
Please repair this car and keep it going! These were very reliable cars, and that’s providing the owner kept them serviced. This car needs to have a fuel system service, and this will help this car to fire on the first crank. If this were my car, I would have never let it get like this!
8;07i love ur shifting.... u r my new mechanick
they are the best japanese cars i have a gti lancer like that and a cyborg mirage

Theres been a 1996 lancer for 16 years in my family, daily use, this car has paid for itself over and over, its truly well made, specially the engine and gearbox, very comfy too.
That year style Lancer was unique. Great little car
One thing is, park a Mitsubishi for years, it’s gonna fire up right away that’s for sure 💪🔥
That engine still sounds healthy...My parents has my 1990 Lancer however its parked in their backyard under a tree hasn't been used since 2014 or 2015...
I had the same car in black. It was a super saloon and really powerful japenese muscle car.
Судя по состоянию неплохо сохранилась
I love this model of lancer... extremely rare here in Ireland now

@The Vehicle Boi hi
This Lancer generation was once a popular car here in Philippines, next to the Corolla of the same time....... and a more sportier option here too....
Great work as always thanks from JDS in AZ usa
Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽 Flexiny … Great videos…!!!
I used to have this kind of car.. very lively on the streets
It's amazing hardly any rust over there with you mate. Brilliant best will it start video's on KZread. 👍
Being an old Lancer, it'd run for another 50 years plus now.. Gotta love how cars get abandoned for such a small problem 🙃
Love this channel :) thx for your work
god damn, it even still has the original exhaust with the flanged/ringed end. really wish you could still find ones in as good of a condition here in germany. They're either swiss cheese, worn to hell and back or sellers ask high 4 digit prices (in eur) for the better ones
:O Nostalgia, my grandpa had one and i wish he didn’t scrap it You got a nice find there, lets hope it wont be sent to the scrapyard
I like your films very much. Greetings from Poland🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
What a lovely car!
My grandfather had the dodge lancer. It was a hatchback car
Good job guys! I think I’ve never seen a Lancer Sedan in my country, here Mitsubishi only sold the 5doors hatchback version.

Thanks your videos
wow, nice car
When I was a kid, I saw these cars almost every day driving on the streets, now I am happy, when I see one in a year. Its really sad. But I am so glad to see this old beautiful girl here in the Video.
Still looks pretty good for almost 30 years old car no rusthols at fenders
I have an old Mitsubishi colt and I’m surprised that the engine sounds exactly the same
Nice car, i usted to have a Mitsubishi mirage coupe.
اشكرك على سيار زمان جميل جدا رومانسي
Great video! you gotta love those great little cars... I own one 92 automatic sometimes it anoyying that its only 3 speed auto and not maunal like yours :)
5:18 - 5:24 This car is not bad, considering the twelve years it stayed abandoned exposed at the weather. It´s a big surprise about a Lancer.
De los pocos coches, que parece que esta bien conservado.
Réaliser le grand entretien et la revendre car elle mérite de rouler. Ces mécaniques jalonaise des années 90 sont increvables
Old cars are the best

Stary, dobry Japoniec. Podlać paliwkiem podać prądu i można jechać 💪
My friend owned the same model in red colour 150hp
Would love to see this one washed and cleaned up like the Passat!
We had this as our previous car really good quality suspension is smooth compared to our replacement 2005 Kia Picanto but our taillights have a white turn signals
14:15 awesome😁
I remember when they’ve been literally all over the shop. My relatives had one of these and it was to use his words heap of Japanese crap it was always something to fix on it I think it was a red 1992 Mitsubishi. Nowadays I’ve never seen one on the road in Sweden.
super reliable
Love it 😍
It just astonished me that people abandoned cars for some of the silliest reason, such as a clutch. I understand cars don't last forever. However, even new vehicle still requires money to maintain them. I swear some people have way too much money. I drive an 18-year-old Ford with almost 500,000km and, it's still run great and have no intention of upgrading until I need to! Greeting from Australia btw!

Reading some of the comments I understand why. "putting in a new clutch means the parts and labor will end up more than the car's worth", it pains my heart to see people being such penny pinchers that they'll have no problem leaving a nice car in which everything works to die just because one of the wear items needs to be replaced.
Very good. Will you clean it up and fix the clutch?
In Indonesia, we called it the Lancer Dan Gan 😍
