In this video, I want to highlight all the master stylist who was, gentle, kind and patient while styling my daughter's 4c hair.
As you all know Sydney is extremely tender headed (sensitive scalp) Which leads to uncomfortable styling days.
Our wash routines were not as fun with loose hair. Many people told me that it's me, my hands are too heavy. ( heavy handed) No one ever believed it was her scalp sensitivity.
This was Sydney's first time in a salon.

She will love them, I was the type of person that has to have my hair combed every day. No hair out of place but I’m almost 2 years in with the locs. I love it I love it love it love it love it.

Yesss Syd, I love it!! Welcome to the loc family. Looks really good on her. Just trust the process. Don't get it retwisted too much, I would suggest every 6-8 weeks. I'm glad I get to see her loc journey. At the beginning, I didn't like my locs, so I wore wigs and crochet braids. Then, I started embracing my journey and started getting styles and wearing the style until it was almost time to go get a retwist.
