I love how for UG1 you included opponent's actual cars (If anyone is confused, the opponent's cars and paintjobs are predetermined and always the same unlike the later games where they're completely random safe for few exceptions) Brings back some memories, and I think I remember the ones you've shown! Golf GTI - Jose's car, i think he's your first opponent after you get your car Civic - Samantha's, duh MX-5 - I am pretty sure this car belongs to one of the guys you race in the first tournament of the game (they all race MX-5s) 206 - It's that fucker who always rubberbanded past me in drag races, im sure of that, but past that I don't think of anything notable about him, lol Neon - I think its the second car (pretty sure the first was one of the MX-5s in the first tournament) you see with Tier 2 visual upgrades all around LONG before you actually get them, man the jealousy was real, even though it's a Neon, lol. I also like how in UG1 you meet the same guys you raced before, but later on they have much more visual upgrades, indicating that you're not the only one progressing (or something like that, idk)

The MX-5 was Stefan. I don't remember the 206, but I think it was a weird name. And the Neon I don't remember either. I only remember Klutch and Nesto. But I totally agree with you about how Underground handles AI cars. It gave each of them an identity and I loved it! Like seriously, who would have guessed that Scott - one of the first opponents you race - would be your #2 ranked Sprint opponent?

It doesn't mattter WHAT car you give him, as long as you give him a car, you can bet TheBoss Gaming will win the race

When the other nfs games have a noisy and crazy ambience, but the high stakes has a very relaxing and peacefully bird chirping sound. And i love it!

Ryan Cooper's 240SX is such a relatable starter car because it looks like it's in its total shitbox phase, which every project car has gone through at least once.

I like the way you evolved the starter car into the max upgraded. I'm impressed. That's why your video is kinda great.

by the way, if you get the limited edition of shift 2 unleashed, you get three cars free but ofcourse they will be unlocked after you complete your first race though, also mazda RX8 and audi TT S are also the starter cars of shift 2, they become available as an option when you get first in the podium.

Good video all together. Liked how the cars were stock and then modded. Fun fact: UK release of Underground 2 didn't have the Honda Civic. I was annoyed to find out it was in other releases as it was my favourite car at the time.

Plus, if someone would like to play the classic (for example, because remaster is too expensive), they'd get the wrong idea. Therefore, saying in this case that classic and remaster are the same game is like saying FlatOut 2 and Ultimate Carnage are the same.

@@Simarino54 Just 3 cars less doesn't feel a "different" game. The PC version had less content than the consoles and later was added to the remastered sure but for that price it isn't changed that much (even the visuals are barely improved and noticeable some got worsened). At least from everything that they could improve is the lightning (adding at least ray-tracing) and brand new cars. Some people don't miss these cars especially the Carbon E7. And pretty sure someone might make a mod and port these cars lol. And also the soundtrack is pretty much the same it isn't added the PS3 beta soundtrack for some reason (even though most of the songs don't fit well to the game)

@@duschseitkleines-1193 You can choose from Audi S3, BMW 135i, Cobalt SS, Focus ST, S2000,, Civic, Mx-5, Megane RS, Scion Tc, Leon, VW Golf, Scirocco. Everything has good graphics and phisycs. You can upgrade your cars performance, interior, exterior too.

It sounds nothing like Brera. It re-uses the same sounds as the Skyline. And it is basically tuned Skyline with single turbo (Brian's 2F2F sound literally) with VQ35DE mix.
