All you need is sauteed onions and some Montgomery inn bbq sauce and a charcoal grill and you can make some good hot dogs my friends.

That’s what I’m saying bro like even the corn flakes was a bit much 😂 like I get it, you wanna try something “different” but it’s certain shyt you just don’t mess with, the regular toppings of mustard, ketchup, even all that relish and sauerkraut is extra to me, it’s like what are we having a hotdog or a salad with a bunch of condiments and some meat in the middle 🤷‍♂️😂😂😭

Just because it's pink doesn't mean it's raw. Almost all hot dogs are cured, and cured meat is pink (ever have ham before?). Also, I'd assume those are pork sausages based on the color, which would make it lighter than the beef franks we get in States. The frosted flakes are weird though

Quality and passion? It's frozen hotdogs and prepackaged ingredients. Anyone can open a can or bag and mix item A into item B. The assembly was clean and consistent, which is to be expected from fast food, but come on.

Man, we take it for granted how much work it is to have clean, safe & good food prep. This is just for regular fast food or a food truck too. You know the proprietors are passionate about their food when you see all the care & work involved. They don’t do it for the easy hours or to get rich. It’s not only the preparation & cooking but also the cleaning,etc. You can appreciate how clean everything is & all the hard work they do. The end result is a better product I truly believe. On a side note, I always hated those inflatable retail signs but that hot dog one is pretty sweet, not gonna lie.

Big facts on everything you said. This amount of work is why sometimes we have to be dedicated to closing at a certain time and it gets frustrating when people say oh can you take on more order or hey you should stay open longer. When we serve people is just a portion of the job. To keep my kitchen and business clean and respectable is many more hours after close and prep is numerous hours before opening.

Colombian hot dogs use potato ships instead of corn flakes. I think it makes more sense but Korean style looks good too.

Born and raised in the 1970's and 1980's in LES (when it was a no-man's land). Katz Deli was there b4 me, and still there now. I remember Guss pickles, sold from the brine barrel. Memories.
