From your humour, (as a Brit, I love your lapses into English accents), your cats, and the long-suffering 'Cameraman', it makes for entertaining, as well as educational, content. I'd love to have a nice cup of tea and a chat with you Susie, I feel like you would be a giggle!

I can definitely relate as I have difficulty with filing. Some nail techs say only file one direction and others say to file back and forth. Some mostly use the rectangular shaped emery boards, some swear that the glass files work the best, and then there are the quartz files too. It’s so confusing! 🤷‍♀️

@@NanaNan1 Oh!!! GREAT QUESTION since I've been experimenting!! Holo Taco Peely Base is made for natural nails, so it doesn't work the same way on my builder gel. Gotta BUFF GEL NAILS first, then use Holo Taco Peely Base Coat, let that dry. Then Shazam your nails to your heart's content. I didn't know about buffing it first, so most of my gel polish popped right off within 3 days, so the experiment was trying different things on each finger - and simply buffing it first was the one that has the best staying power. Also, you don't need a lot, Holo Taco Peely Base needs a light touch. I'm used to gels, so this stuff is nothing like gel. It flooded my nail wells like crazy because I'm used to working with beads that stay put. Holo Taco Peely Base viscosity is super thin, like water. Once I got the hang of it, super nice!!

Hi Susie! I have been a subbie for well at least 6-7 years. Your professionalism and teaching style has kept me coming back! I am thankful for this and your thoroughness. I even went to Cosmo school as an older adult student. I was most fascinated with nails but our school did not have a nails class. They taught us very minimal basics of acrylic (very basic meaning one week..ugg) if it weren't for your teaching I would not have learned correctly. I sadly had to stop doing all nails and hair due to a bad back surgery, but with the surge of press on nails I'm able to work a little and come back. I have truly missed it. I just wanted to truly thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I've had my nails done by a pro twice, and they were too long for me to be comfortable - so I'm probably not going to do them myself. Despite this, I watched this whole video. You have an engaging teaching style and you explain things really well, as well as emphasising that it won't be perfect as you're learning - great stuff!

I wish I knew all of this before I started doing my own. 😂 I probably did so much damage to my nails. Still learning but significantly less damage now

Finally made my first order from your site ♥️ I ordered some nail forms on Amazon to try and immediately watched your video again on how to use them.. not satisfied with the size and shape of what I ordered so I decided to just go to your site to get your buttons. I also got your bridge, Naturally Fake EZ Gel, and some blooming coat since I’ve always wanted to try it. I’m SO EXCITED to get my products!!! I just do my own nails and currently love builder in a bottle. I also love hybrid gel but have only gotten it in tubes so far, so I’m excited to try yours. Thank you so much for the wonderful videos. I watch them all the time just to relax and unwind 😂

Girl can’t nobody do these gel nails like you. I been doing nails since I was 17 when my mother made me and my sister go to mail school with her. Then she transferred and my aunt joined us at our new new school way back in the 80’s. 😂😂😂 and can’t nobody work that gel like you. ❤

Hey, Suzeie! I am an amateur and I do my own nails. I was wondering if you would review the IDB gel products that come in gel polish bottles! 😮 they are nail builders that come in clear, pink, and white, and a top coat. I used it and think its great! Easier to control for a diy'er, but I wanted your professional opinion, please! Thanks! Love your channel and content, it has helped me tremendously ❤ can't wait to see what you create next! 😍

I just spent 3 hours doing an extension on one broken nail and overlays on the rest of my nails 😩 Took forever, but it looks great! I've got a really pretty idea for nail art that I'll be doing later tonight, but at least I have my base ready to go!

I love watching how you do this. It makes me feel confident when I do my own nails. Im a perfectionist and feel frustrated at times with thick gel. When I get a bubble, I file and buff. Then add my last layer and cure. The bubble disappears anyway. Can you use monomer or some type of liquid priduct to smooth out with a brush? I noticed it took almost 30 min to do this video. So will it taje longer to do a full set? Asking for when I do a clients set.
