Start LAST, Finish 1st?! 100 Amateurs Vs Pro Mountain Bikers
Спорт
Can three professional mountain bikers beat 100 amateur riders in a race down the side of an epic mountain? Brook "Bulldog" MacDonald, Remy Morton & Jess Blewitt start BEHIND the amateur bike riders and have to try to overtake as many as possible before the finish at Red Bull Foxhunt, a mass start downhill race held in 2023 on the dusty and loose MTB trails in Cardrona, New Zealand 🏁
Special thanks to @CardronaNZ Bike Park for hosting this awesome event 🤘

this would have been interesting if the pros started at the back of the pack and gave a head start. they essentially just started at a different point and at the junction was ahead of nearly half the pack.

7:35 so many good people here. Everyone started pretending that their chain had fallen off too ;D
I wish I was good enough to be overtaken by Brook 😂
Didnt exactly go from "100th" place if by the time they met up with the pack they already was in 50th. Plus starting in a different location that probably allowed for faster speeds sooner than the rest of the pack.
Wow; the pro riders always seem really good of course, but when they are compared to amateur riders that are better than most of us, it really goes to show just how good the pros are.

@@redbull thanks. I reread the description and it’s mentioned there. I was thinking about Remy Metailler, another enduro rider I follow. Anyways, Redbull’s social media handlers are awesome.
I like how this video shows the different skill levels and how riders with amateur status would waste any of us on our own local trails. You know that amazing rider that you know? The red shirts in the front make him look slow. Line recognition came in handy for Remy too, coming out of nowhere on a shortcut. That was nice.
Super sick I would love to ride this trail!

At 7:34, Remy shows up behind Brook and the two red shirt riders who are scooting because they've also lost their chains. After Remy passes Brook, the camera goes from split screen to just Remy's point of view, so it's Remy who is pedaling at the end of the video.
Cutting across the course helps lol
I was hoping for a drone footage.
His suspension has passed away
Question, what can a trophy truck do, the Kamaz Truck can do the same?
