Great late Winter drone shot of your home and yard. As to your aging, I know gardening will keep you young, especially eating the harvests. It will be interesting how your old seeds will germinate. The fig clone looks healthy and good luck with new grape vines. Squeak rolling over and falling off her warming bed was funny at 2:28. Squeak the gymnast at her best walking the high balance beam. I hope your heel will continue to heal even if it's slow going.

…I look forward to your 2024 garden. From my own experience, yes the foot heel takes a long time to repair, but it will. It helps to not go barefoot or in socks, but wear slippers or shoes in the house. 🌱 🦶🏻 👞 🪴😁

@BubbleBeet Have you thought about getting an x ray as well? Even this long after the injury it might be helpful. Walking differently to adjust for a pain usually creates more issues down the road.

Hello! New garden season is upon us! When you talked about your back getting bad, I thought for sure you were going to tell us you are building your beds higher, for tall raised beds. But I remembered that you do your small crop gardening in tubs on your deck so the added expense of tall raised beds really wouldn't help all that much for tomatoes and peppers. May all your seeds germinate!

You may find some relief by using a sports kinetic tape. You should be able to Google to figure out how to tape yourself. I got mine off Amazon. I was using some for one of my toes and it worked wonders. My podiatrist was the one who recommended it to me for an issue on my toes. Every once in a while I have a flare up and I will tape for a few days until it’s gone again.
