Namaste just means hi in Sanskrit. Many Indians are complaining that non-Indians are inappropriately using their language. Perhaps the word Salam in Arabic would make more sense, especially in this context since Salam means peace and is widely used as a greeting whereas namaste means only hi and is just a language like saying for instance salut in French or hola in Spanish. I am giving you this feedback and please share it widely with others in the hope of educating people. Thank you
