This is all part of the DLC for the force unleashed which has a crazy alternate timeline. Starkiller wasn’t as powerful as you might think but he was trained by Vader to be a personal assassin for 10 years which might justify why he’s strong.

The gameplay mechanics of Star Wars the force unleashed and God of War seem pretty similar to me now that I think about it. At least in the original trilogy of GOW games, his blades of chaos seemed to be a lot like Starkiller’s force fury lightsaber attacks, you could make combos with different abilities in both games, and they both featured overpowered characters that beat the crap out of quite literally their entire franchise at their current time.

I always see people call Starkiller op but we've seen similar or even greater feats of Strength in the canon Star Wars universe. I'd love to see him be made canon in a new way. I wouldn't really care if they nerfed him. They've talked about bringing him back for so long I wish they just did it already.

This is all part of the DLC for the force unleashed which has a crazy alternate timeline. Starkiller wasn’t as powerful as you might think but he was trained by Vader to be a personal assassin for 10 years which might justify why he’s strong.

First: This scene sequence, and the others too, was never considered canon on the game, and on the Star Wars continuity itself; Second: This all is derivated from the bad ending, who it's always part of the N-canon division (Non-canon stories, likewise the Marvel Infinities ones); Third: The "true" canon story of the character was tell on the Dark Horse's comics (FU 1 - August 18, 2008 and FU 2 - September 29, 2010) and the Novels (FU 1 - August 18, 2008 and FU 2 - October 5, 2010), the game is intentionally overexagereted on power levels, because is a freaking video game; Fourth: The character of Galen Marek was part of "Legends" continuity (Old Expanded Universe, likewise the Thrawn Trilogy, the New Jedi Order, The Old Republic materials, etc.), or, in other words, was always canon before Disney buyed the franchise; Fifith: George Lucas himself work on this game, on side of the producers, so... The gameplay mechanics of Star Wars the force unleashed and God of War seem pretty similar to me now that I think about it. At least in the original trilogy of GOW games, his blades of chaos seemed to be a lot like Starkiller’s force fury lightsaber attacks, you could make combos with different abilities in both games, and they both featured overpowered characters that beat the crap out of quite literally their entire franchise at their current time.

Also Vader is already op but he is a chosen one with several dosen years of training and then he was powered by constant hatered and pain. Can I just say , it was canon. It absolutely without a doubt was canon to the Star Wars story pre 2012. In legends starkiller did exist but this is a DLC of an alternate timeline. Please stop spreading false information about legends

Hot take: I never liked Starkiller (Galen), I thought he was to OP for cannon in the light of Luke+ Anakin being the chosen ones. And were supposed to be one of the strongest in the force! Still a good game tho 👍

loved this grim take on the star wars universe! Starkillers story will forever by my favorite piece of star wars and two of my favorite childhood games ever! ps: not sure if I‘m a fan of the 2nd games DLC part doe, that Chewie death seems a little too messed up damn they really went all out lmao still cool that they actually made something like this!

I always see people call Starkiller op but we've seen similar or even greater feats of Strength in the canon Star Wars universe. I'd love to see him be made canon in a new way. I wouldn't really care if they nerfed him. They've talked about bringing him back for so long I wish they just did it already.

Have u seen anybody use the force pulse in the movies? This is a very hard thing for Jedi and sith to do because if not don’t correctly it will kill the Jedi or sith who use it.

EDIT: guys I know it's dlc, let's not pretend it wouldn't still be deeply stupid to re-canonize that time Vader trained another apprentice so strong he could bring down a Star Destroyer with his bare hands (RE-EDIT: didn't happen, misremembered the star destroyer scene!) Yeah I know it's cool, but that's the joy of non-canonical content - the creators get to go completely insane with canon-breakingly powerful OCs.
