Sharla Diedrichs read the book please, because its a great at teaching people how to be genuine human beings instead of your interpretation of “im not like all the other girls”. Not alot of people read now, but if youe ever feel like you dont belong anywhere or feel like you arnt worth it or you dont matter to anyone, read stargirl. It has changed my life

I read the book when I was younger, had to pick a random book to read and somehow chose this book. It's awesome that a movie is going to be out, but the meaning and message of what Star girl gave is best heard through the pages. So definitely check it out. There's more than just romance between a vibrantly dressed girl and a boy who follows the crowd, it's about kindness too and that before any love for another person, it's love for yourself and the world.

I mean, I think the whole point of the book was to teach kids that it's okay to be yourself (as I feel like it was read as a middle school-aged book). Not the worst example to set for middle schoolers.

I’m so excited to see this! I went to graces concert and she brought me and another girl backstage and we met her and she got us a new ukulele and she signed it! She is the sweetest person ever!

I remember watching Grace’s first audition on AGT in 2016. I loved her from the very start! It’s so cool to see how she’s grown. I also remember the moment she won on live TV, I was sitting eating popcorn on the edge of my seat! Howie Mandel must be so proud, including her parents! She’s so unique. Love her! 💕

There's pretty good evidence she's been toying with song production, too. Did you hear Happy Songs a few days ago? It wasn't supposed to get out and was taken down at the request of her family but it may still be out there. It really sounds like it was self produced by Grace using a song production app.

@@astoldby The story I heard was that it was a private song Grace wrote and was producing with a computer program. She was possibly venting as she says she works through difficulties through her. It may have also been a contractual thing. None of this is gospel but does make sense if you listen to the lyrics. Whatever the true story is, it is another work of genius.

OMG.This movie is my one of the favorite book I ever read when I was a teenager. Im glad grace took the role! Stargirl is exactly what she is.

As of this comment, I've seen Stargirl over 50 times and now I've lost count, such an amazing movie for individuality. Grace Vanderwaal killed this 1st. time as an actress! All the cast were perfect in their roles.

I had to read Stargirl many years ago when I was in the seventh grade and I love it. I hadn't thought about it in years until I saw a promotion for this movie on television and this adaptation just reminded me of the novel and the memories attached to it! Time flies. Also it's awesome that Gus Fring is playing Archie!

I loved the movie very much and liked the story a lot as if it was talking about me because I loved a girl one day but it was not really in reality and when I saw the movie I was very moved by it because I really expected the end to be just like me The important thing is the movie I liked a lot and touched me from the inside because it is great to watch a movie In fact, you can remember it every day and loved everything until the end. It is very nice to find a movie that tells you what happened to you because in fact I had a talent that I did not confess to. She pushed me to it and disappeared from my life, but I still remember it throughout my life until now. It was a beautiful memory in my life😢
