Game found on GOG. Played on Windows 11, using the Upgrade mod 3.3 by Jan_B as a baseline mod with lots of extra bits from lots of mods thrown in on top and then my own adjustments.

Takes way too long otherwise. Not sure why the Ambassador is on a clapped out old freighter in the first place. Should be travelling in style on a nice big Starfleet ship that can handle itself.
Not a bad maneuver heading straight to the Fek'lhr to divert its first volley away from the freighter. That being said I would not find myself comfortable being on the front end of 2 Polaron Torpedos in a Destroyer! Once more it seems you have found a higher quality model, this time the Tygokor base station. Would you mind sharing the model's origins?

It's a bold move for sure, but I can take the hits more than the freighter can. the trick is to try to grab its attention temporarily and not become it's main target - that's a fight you can't win.
