Starfield Modding, Matilija's Aerospace-new sliding bay doors for large missile launchers

Last time I was able to make some bomb bay style doors to open and have my missile launchers extend out of the ship, but I didn't like how it looked with those large bomb bay doors sticking up, so I came up with a new method to accomplish the same thing, a track system to slide the doors open. Take this journey with me to see if I succeeded or not, and hear about some of the other ideas I have floating around in my head.

Can you make 360 degree firing plasma turrets for the big bays?
Wait, those bottom weapons were what i was asking about in one of the other videos. Did you do away with that, or did i miss it?!?

@@matilija I was wanting to import the Tempest from Mass Effect Andromeda. I was able to export the model and associated texture and put it all together in Blender. The rest is a bit over my head when it comes to the process of modding it into the game.

@@viperspecops Unfortunately, I wouldn't be much help, I don't really know how to use blender besides just loading models into it, most of the work I do is using vanilla assets Nifskope and SF1Edit.
Hey mate love your work, any chance they could be linked to the power levels in the HUD?

Do you mean the screens on the pilot seat? They already are linked to the power level in your control hud, they use 3 power per launcher.

@@matilija I mean that they only open up when they've been given power in the HUD like other weapons if you power them down they don't rise out of the ship. Again kudos for all your great work mate I'm completely impressed by it.

@@SupermanRLSFIt may be possible but that would be beyond me, I'm simply using the landing gear animations to make it all happen, which is why they work on takeoff.
