Starfield Ship Build Guide: Star Wars LAAT Republic Gunship
Here's my build guide for the LAAT Republic Gunship from the Clone Wars era. All parts should be available from the outpost shipbuilder with the exception of:
- HopeTech companionway directly behind cockpit (found at HopeTech)
I've limited the video to building one side to cut down on time, simply duplicate to complete the ship. This build makes use of flip glitches as well as the buddy glitch system. There is glitching into the landing bay (not major) and control hab - glitching into the hab can be avoided by moving the grav drive/reactor up or by replacing the hab with a 1x1 companionway/storage room. For my build, I duplicated the control hab on top of itself to up the crew count, but the standard build will still give you space for 6. Not at all! For the most part, these are flip glitches. You can snap the piece onto a snap point (even if it doesn't fit), then flip it once, flip it back, and hit cancel. This should leave the piece where it is. I'll try to throw a video together soon (with audio) going over the various glitches I use to make these a bit easier to follow
