Nice layout & design. Like to see how you'd reconfigure using "Place Doors Yourself", since you can then control where your connections are. Opens up whole new layout options.

A list of parts salvaged from the base ship would be nice. That way i can move those parts off and delete the rest

I like using the 2x2 Nova Living Quarters and try to make the entrance on the rear starboard side. You get a couch and chairs around a big flat screen tv on the forward portside and a pool table on the forward starboard side. The entrance on the rear starboard side doesn't remove the bathroom, which many of the Nova 2x1 habs tend to do if you have a door in the back of the 2x1 hab. I also like the Nova 2x1 Captains quarters. The bed looks nice and the back has a nice corner couch for lounging. You can even put a port window on the rear starboard side (lose the bookshelf and gain a window to look out of while sitting on your couch.

I really don;t understand the hate for this game. I've spent more hours in ship building than anything else. It's quite the addiction. definitely gonna build your ship , looks awesome!

The hate only comes into play when your not enjoying the game for what it offers, for us that enjoy the mechanics and systems that are here you will have hours and hours of content and creativity but once you do it long enough you will see the flaws in the systems at play and it takes away from the experience. I have spent more then 200 hours in ship building and the system is completely repetitive and makes no sense sometimes, but I have learned to close my eyes to those flaws and enjoy the ship building regardless. I hate the hell out of the bugs and the reliance on rng for most of the game but it’s a extremely fun and addicting game regardless I hope my future builds also help you and give you inspiration to start creating some master pieces of your own!

This is actually easier to follow to build.

This is one of the best builds I've seen since the game came out, it really shows you've put in time to design the ship yourself. I've been wanting to try it out myself but I was wondering, where did you begin after getting the base ship ? Because every shop had different parts, it's not like you can go to any one of them and build the whole thing there...

Good question. I have built so many ships since this one! One of my all time favorites tho. You have to build most of it at the Deimos star yard take it to an outpost and wrap it up. If you want to use all the HABs that I have then you gotta hit up hopetech HABs which can all be found in Hopetown! Porrima is a great place for the cargo you may want to add at the end! 💪🏽🔥🔥let me know if this helps or if there’s any more information you need!

I have a question how can i just buy the stuff for the ship like im in the beginning found the deimos part but i want to buy them go to the next place can’t save it because have a lots of error

What you can do is go to the first location attach it to the ship after it’s attached put on any grav drive, reactor, docker, landing bay, and all the landing gear it needs so it can take off from the planet. It can be any random pieces that are cheap. You don’t need a weapon system or shield at all, and make sure you at any fuel tank so that it can fly at that point all the error messages will go away and you can replace them when you get to the next location with the better parts you need or want

The best way to get mobility to 100 is to replace the pinch 8z to the sf40 the power is same but the repair rate is a little bit lower and replace the hopetech crossbrace to nova crossbrace which is 10 mass lesser and try to see if other c class grav drives have the ly range of more than 25

@@Arel1989 😂😂😂I was being so extra with all the guns but yeah if you want those too it ran me 1.1mil minus the 90k off the ship parts you get when scrapping the original base ship so about a mil will work just fine!

What do you mean once you highlight all the ship parts select the highlight section you wanna move and slide it over to where you need it

Are all the parts available at my out post I have the cockpit, engines and grab drive etc already on my current ship.

I made a list of all the special parts from each vendor. I tired or build this at the outpost first and I couldn’t even come close. I did almost the entire ship in Deimos so just go there and finished the ship. You must go to either hopetown or new homestead for the cross brace or nova passage parts and the weapons and every other part was at the red mile. But the whole build with the base varuun vigil ship is practically finished at just Deimos alone.

I just finished building this. Hardest part was figuring out how to get the landing bay on to my current ship so I could change it in to the one you just made. Didn’t want to scratch build from the stolen ship.

How do shop at different places without having to delete the ship?

Excellent question each ship has the essential parts that must be attached on it in any locations on the ship. It doesnt even have to make sense or be in a set place just as long as it’s attached to the ship it’s okay! Except the landing gear the landing bay and the dock system those have to be in certain positions in order for the ship to fly. Now the essentials are Fuel tank Docking system Landing bay Cockpit Landing gear that coincides with the weight( mass) of the ship Any HAB Reactor Grav drive And any ship parts you want to take with you to the next shop Make sure the ships length doesn’t go over 40m and your good to fly out to another shop vendor to finish your builds

Anyone else have the problem when after you finish the build you can not use your ship.. I can't fast travel nor go inside.. when I try to go inside its completely glitches out? Any solutions? Ps this is the second big ship build that this has happened. Had to delete completely and re built and still didn't work.. 😢

Okay yes I have a fix for you and it should be a lot more helpful then just going back to a previous save, The first thing you will need to do is get to a point before you started the build! Once you have done that make any other ship you own your home ship! 2nd start to Modify/Build this ship Once you complete the ship in its entirety make sure you do not switch it back to your home ship until after you use also changed the color and anything else you needed changed on the ship. Dismiss your crew also helps with this process as well to make sure your ship resets properly when switched out When you have completed the build finally make it your home ship which should switch this ship to be physically on the landing platform. At this point the ship should be right in front of you. If you can’t interact with the ship result to a save before this point. Because your game has basically saved the glitch ship as a home ship! Hopefully this all makes sense and let me know if you need any further assistance right here. There’s are all the methods I use now in order to make builds because the game just breaks every time you try to build. Don’t build on Neon city landing area, as well as akila those two areas are already really hard on the game and it crashes and bugs out a lot more often in these two locations.

Really hope you see this guy what level are you that you have access to all of these parts?

I see you fam don’t worry. So after level 31 a lot of parts start to show up but not until level 50 and higher will every ship part show up for example level 52 will unlock the rank 4 design of j-52 gamma drive If you want to guarantee all items are available the best level is after 60 You should see every item in the game from this point.

are you running mods for this? it wont let me finish this it says excess weapon power usage- also i only get 81 mobility ?

@@MSenseiHD the exact same ones you have on your video except they are 3 and 4 power each and its maximum of 4 and 3 of each of them right? I think i figured it out you were using 2 groups of 3 and 1 group of 4?

If you want to get your mobility up closer to 100 replace the pinch 8z reactor with the SF40 shear flow reactor. The repair rate on it is not as good but the mass is a lot better to get you the mobility you need

Sorry that I just criticize you videos. You did great with most of the build, but you didn't cover the weapons very well. I noticed that you put Exterminator 95 MeV Auto Helion Beams on one side and Obliterator 250 MeV Auto Alpha Beams on the other, but you didn't say what you put in the middle. At least I was able to build the ship this time. I like turrets, so I'll probably put those on.
