Well aUEC is a digital currency so its physically impossible to have blood on it....my hands are clean and so is the fuel transferred lol

refueling will only ever be used in orgs or when/if CIG comes up with NPC missions. still like it though

creates a lot of gameplay for pirates that can't refuel at stations. they could board a starfarer and hold the crew hostage while stealing/transfering the fuel to their own ships

if all the pirates start raiding the refuel ships, guess what will happen then, no more refueling ships. Then what are the pirates going to do for fuel? Even pirates have to respect the law of "mutual interests".

love all these Quality of life features but still waiting for them to overhall the CHAT / coms to add Block/ignore/profanityfilter/ecn range only chat/improved friends list/crew request features.

Refueling will be awesome once we have like 5 systems. Otherwise, I can't think of something I'd want to do less than sitting around in the middle of nowhere with my Starfarer powered down hoping people are near waiting to get fuel. Also, which players would want to serve as escort in a powered down state guarding me? If I'm in a light fighter/escort ship, it means I want to be in the action, not hoping I get to guard a fueling vessel hoping there are people nearby needing fuel.

I imagine most refueling will be org to org supply ships for places like Pyro or large outings. I'm trying to envision "Bob's Gas Station" with some random player just hanging out giving fuel but it doesn't seem the likely case?

Way too complicated in my opinion. It might be something new to play around now, but in the long run, this mechanic will fail.

I was a little surprised at how much of a minigame there was. The flow slider will definitely need some work, it's very touchy and too easy to go over the limit. I think it's one of those mechanics that will be used out of necessity in deep space but not really when you're around town and can find a station or pad easily.
