StarCraft 2: ZERG BLIND COUNTER?! (Scouting Guide)

Ойындар

Zerg vs Protoss scouting guide in StarCraft 2.
Subscribe for more videos: lowko.tv/youtube
Zerg vs Terran all-in build order: goo.gl/kRXijf
Scouting a Protoss can be very difficult. In this video I explain how to scout with Zerg in StarCraft 2 without losing an Overlord.
In this video I show two games of StarCraft 2 with commentary, and afterwards an explanation on the scouting information gathered in the games. My opponent accuses me of not scouting, but that's simply not true. There's a lot of information you can read in the game, that does not require getting a Zergling into their bases or scouting with an Overlord.

Man, sometimes I wish that my opponents were high enough level that seeing the warp-gate timing could give me that much info. In silver, it probably just means they took their gas late (or they momentarily forgot warp-gate existed, lol). Of course, silver Protoss have there own meta that is pretty easy to read: It's void rays. Whatever you scout, it doesn't matter, they're going void rays. Now how they get there varies. Early game could be cannon rush, or 2-base turtle, or gateway aggression. But as long as you survive to the mid-game, it's going to be mass void rays. That is the only strategy they have.

Map hacking makes you into a much weaker player when compared to honest skilled players. You lose your 6th sense that Lowko was teaching us about in this video that can only be developed through time and continued practice. I'd rather assume my opponent was just more skilled in that specific match and there was something to learn from it then automatically accusing them of cheating to make myself feel better after losing. You learn nothing that way. I picked up this mentality way back in the beginning years of Broodwar. It has served me well in all my competitive game play over the years.

I would recommend you go into a solo match as protoss and just take a good look at the cybernetics core. Start researching warpgate or +1 upgrades and cancel them pay attention to how the animations on the structure changes. If you have difficulty with any other building in the game do the same thing for that make a unit or research an upgrade from it and look at the animation changes.

At my league (Diamond 3), Protoss players who don't start Warpgate research right away still go for a ground-based army, because they are just bad at their builds.

What league was this? Master's? I'm guessing that the opponent only perfected certain build orders down to the exact timing and never worked on his game senses or his micro. That was clear in the first game where he basically gave away his two Oracles and never bothered to save them for map control, scouting, harassment, etc.
